How do you know if your reforestation or conservation project is actually successful? For most corporate funders, the journey usually looks like this: 1. You commit to a Nature-based Solution (NbS). 2. You sign the contract. 3. You feature it in your sustainability report. Then, the critical question arrives: "How do you know it’s working?" This is the moment that separates genuine impact from good intentions. Right now, most corporate NbS portfolios can’t answer that question with hard data. Instead, they rely on trust: trust in the developer, the registry, or the consultants. Trust is essential, but stakeholders, auditors, and regulators are starting to demand more. We help corporates visualize the holistic impact of their nature portfolio. Imagine a balance sheet for nature—one that documents impact via verifiable numbers. We enable you to see exactly what works (and what doesn’t), allowing you to allocate resources efficiently to generate lasting, evidence-based impact. If you are going to #ChangeNow in Paris? I’d love to discuss how we can bring data-driven monitoring to your portfolio. Book a slot in our calendar here: https://lnkd.in/epuA_3YX

After two years of building, learning, and refining how we work, we're ready to share what Susbridge has become. We're an independent consulting practice working at the information layer, where research, data, and communication must become decisions that teams can act on. We focus on sustainability, development, and impact-driven work across Africa and global contexts. Our new website reflects this clearly: ✓ What we do (advisory, research, data, communications) ✓ How we stay grounded (Susinsight, Susdata, Knowledge Lab) ✓ What we've worked on (case studies, published research) Browse our projects. Read our latest thinking. And if the challenges we're tackling sound familiar, let's talk. Visit https://susbridge.xyz

Quick wins are great. Long-term commitments change everything. Here are three reasons long-term giving creates deeper impact: 1. It gives partners stability to plan and grow their work 2. It unlocks bigger, systems-level solutions over time 3. It builds a culture of commitment inside your business When you commit 1% every year, you're doing the same for environmental partners—one step, one year, one project at a time. Curious what a 1% commitment could look like for you? Get in touch: https://hubs.ly/Q045dtP20

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀! 🌿🌊 Managing nature risks can be overwhelming for companies. Different frameworks, different metrics, different ecosystems. That's why we've tried to make our expectations as clear and actionable as possible. Today we published our updated Nature Expectations, consolidating our guidance on land, water, and ocean into one integrated document. The structure is straightforward: 𝗘𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 - governance, disclosure, targets, plans, and responsible engagement - that apply to all companies. 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 - land, water, and ocean - for companies with specific exposures. That's it. We want companies to focus on what's material to their business, and to make genuine progress - not get lost in complexity. Read the full document below 👇

Before: Local staff spend weeks navigating fragmented funding pathways, aligning partners through email chains, and duplicating coordination efforts. After: Clear roles. Shared roadmap. Navigator support. Proposals move forward without administrative drag. Capacity is not overhead. It is infrastructure. Climate Ready America reduces friction so public sector leaders can focus on implementation instead of paperwork. Today Carbon Copy is launching its new Changeprints research, led by Eunomia Research & Consulting - Certified B Corp.. We commissioned this back when I was a Carbon Copy trustee. We were specifically interested in factors that make environmental community projects successful BEYOND funding access. The concept of a ‘Changeprint’ is a positive alternative to a carbon footprint – instead of focusing on cutting down at individual level, we focus on building positive change at community level. The results focus on three success themes (x 4 success factors): Abundance, Belonging and Purpose. And success can happen anywhere, in any context. This is useful for communities because it affirms areas where it’s worth putting in effort to build strong foundations. And for funders, it affirms the characteristics that successful applicants working at community level should have if they’re likely to build a truly impactful project. Links to the intro video and report in the comments - and you can check out Carbon Copy’s website for a huge collection of real-life stories of community action on climate and nature. #Changeprint #ClimateEmergency #CommunityAction #Community

1wBiggest paradox is whole internet runs on open source, but funding and responsibility still look like a hobby project, this will not scale for long
