Happy Halloween in only one week! It’s weird when Halloween falls on a weekday ESPECIALLY a Monday!
For the past month, I have been digging through the internet for really neat leftover Halloween candy recipes so you don’t have to keep all that candy sitting around for months.
We always have a little leftover candy from all the trick or treaters we get each year. And we get so many! We buy at least $100 worth of candy each and usually just have a few handfuls left.
I hate having it go to waste, and I am not a huge candy person, so I always make a fun little sweet treat to give to people.

Butterfingers are one of my favorite Halloween leftovers! I never indulge on them during the year but Halloween… all bets are off. So that popcorn definitely sounds amazing! And yes to that Oreo Brownie Pizza!! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes
I agree! I never eat Butterfingers, but it is so hard to resist for Halloween. I hate having candy sit around after Halloween is over…so tempting lol. I love making a dessert like one of these to give out to people or friends!

We have so much leftover candy, I love to get it out of the house all at once 🙂 Definitely a nice treat just once a year though!

Wow. What creative ways to use up extra candy. When I was a kid, i would select some for my personal eating, then the rest went to dad’s office. Now as an adult, I get to see the leftovers!
I remember as a kid my mom would always send a huge bag with my Dad to his work too lol, she didn’t want me to eat all of it! Now, I just have to use it up for my husband’s sake…he loves candy! 🙂
Our family loves to use the candy corn for a Thanksgiving activity! ( I buy just for this Thanksgiving activity and tuck it in the freezer to keep it.) After your meal, while still at the table, pass a bowl of candy corn, ask everyone to “take some,” do not eat! Then announce to your family and friends after everyone has taken theirs, that for every piece they took, they must tell one thing they are grateful for this year! Our “thanks” ranged from very touching, to my grandson saying he was thankful for toilet paper!…….which caused a riotous laughter! Hearing all the testimonies makes Thanksgiving so memorable and special. It reminds us of why we celebrate that day once a year!
