5 Cozy Autumn Scents (Chemist-Approved & Non-Toxic!)

DIY Cozy Pumpkin Room Spray
This is my personal favorite scent to use in the home! It is so comforting and cozy, I use this pumpkin pie essential oil from woolzies and it is so good! You can use it in a diffuser, or make our DIY pumpkin spice room spray recipe to spray through out the home.

Here is the recipe:
- 6 oz water
- 2 tbsp witch hazel (alcohol based)
- 40 drops pumpkin spice essential oil
- Glass spray bottle (or several small ones)
Directions:
- Mix ingredients into a bowl.
- Add to a bigger spray bottle or into several small ones.
- Spray around your room, living room, kitchen, or bathroom!

If you want to make a fall room spray with just essential oils, but don’t like pumpkin spice, you can try another fall blend! Plant Therapy has an apple orchard scent that is awesome. It would make a great room spray too.
Apple Cinnamon
Apple pie baking in the oven is one of the coziest scents of autumn. To recreate it, simmer apple slices, cinnamon sticks, and a splash of vanilla extract in a pot of water. It’s natural, safe, and makes your whole home smell like a bakery. Another way to utilize apple and cinnamon is our wonderful fall potpourri stovetop simmer. I love this combination of fresh apples AND apple cider to really get that deep apple scent throughout your home.
Flannel & Leaves
One of the most wonderful, non-toxic cozy autumn vibe or your home is Grow Fragrance Fall Collection. I have been loving their fall scents for many years. But this year, they have released a flannel and leaves spray that is so good! I also enjoy their ginger and pumpkin scent which is so comforting and warm.
Coffee and Vanilla
Nothing beats the comforting scent of a warm coffee shop on a fall morning. To get that aroma naturally, simmer coffee beans, water, and a little vanilla extract. Bonus: this also doubles as a natural odor eliminator in your kitchen! I love the smell of coffee and vanilla in the fall. It is just like a coffee shop!
Incorporate Cinnamon Broom Sticks In Fall Decorating
Cinnamon broom sticks are fun to decorate with, but they also smell incredible for months. Anytime I see these at the store, I will buy a few to incorporate around the home. I find them in the produce section at the grocery store with fall decorations or pumpkins. The natural cinnamon scent is so comforting during the fall season!

Thanks for those EASY scents to make at home. I also love the natural scents of cinnamon and cloves. Do you have any recipes or ideas on using these 2 item?
Thanks!
I love to do clove and cinnamon in the stovetop potpourri recipe! It smells really good just adding it in as is, or you can do more clove and cinnamon and take out other ingredients if you want to focus more on those pairings 🙂
Thank you for responding!
