Hello and welcome to the 139th edition of the Screenshot of the Week!

To submit a screenshot, simply post it as an answer to this question, but please take note of the following:

  • One screenshot per post, and one post per person, please!
  • Limited picture modifications are allowed, such as cropping, simple filters, and blurring of identifying info such as names, but not adding other images or text.
  • To ensure a fair playing field, please post screenshots you've taken yourself rather than ones you found online.
  • Stack Exchange’s Code of Conduct still applies - so if it would be unacceptable to post normally, it’s unacceptable here.

Also, try to avoid pictures that include spoilers. We want everyone to be able to enjoy this contest, so the less spoilers the better.

How long will the contest run?

We will accept submissions for a week, until April 15, 2025, then have a week-long period where only voting will be accepted. This is to give every submission, even those posted at the end of the first week, a chance to be voted on by everyone.

After the end of the second week, at April 22, 2025, we will count upvotes only to determine the winning screenshot, which will be featured for a week on the main site's photo widget.

  • @nobody I played too much Blitzball. By the 2nd game, my entire team was maxxed out (I prevented enemy team from scoring, which prolonged the game indefinitely until someone scored at least 1, infinitely leveling up my team members). Commented Apr 9, 2025 at 5:32

The aforementioned scene. There are some rain drops visible, as well as a beautiful sun ray shining towards Ling who is sitting.

The game is currently under development. This screenshot came from a demo for a closed early pre-alpha version.

Context: Lind is the main character, but the game wouldn't be same if we didn't have Nil -the moth flying beside him - to accompany him throughout the entire demo. He's the funniest moth I've ever seen.

This is the opening cutscene to what was for many years the final boss of (more content has since been added after so it's no longer the final boss). It shows both lots of members of your own crew in the background, and then Gazpaccio (the human in front, which you spent the previous ~5% of the game trying to recuse) attempting to carry out his scheme to "fix" Kane (a giant rogue clockwork Gazpaccio once created and the main villain of the entire game, not visible in this screenshot).

Gazpaccio seems to think he has our back, but things very much did not go according to plan after this, so this really is Gazpaccio's five seconds of fame:

After this screenshot, Kane shoots Gazpaccio, destroying the heart, and then kills him with a second shot, and then you and your crew have to fight through waves of clockworks, including Kane himself. It took me dozens of attempts overall to win that fight - it's hard, as it should be for a final boss.

Unfortunately it's kind of spoiler-heavy - and I've hidden the above explanation to avoid spoiling the ending even further, so maybe not best to feature it on the site for a week, though.
