I try to login to "https://math.stackexchange.com/" with my email and password, but the "Log in" button just redirects me to the main page of math.stackexchange not logged.

I can log in to all the other accounts I have. Only the math one has a problem.

As an example, from my "TeX" user page, I can just click on the "Physics" button, and I get to my physics user page logged on. But if I click on the math button, I get logged out.

I already tried to reinitialize my password.

Is this a problem from my side, or a temporary failure of the server ?

It is strange that you're logged in on Tex and Physics but not on Math. There shouldn't be barriers between those domains. In case it matters, what OS / Browser are you on? Can you check if the developer console of your browser show any errors? Are you able to logon from a different network/ use a different ISP / different mobile network? Commented May 8, 2024 at 9:26

Found the issue (looking at the Firefox inspector as suggested by @rene). It was a cookie issue. I had configured Firefox to auto reject cookies from https://math.stackexchange.com.

I may worth a better error message in the UI...
