Aimy Steadman reposted thisAimy Steadman reposted thisIn January 2025, when the BeatBox team met in Austin, we were selling exclusively in the US. That week, I talked with Kevin Wygant to understand his international plan and told Phil J. I was eager to be part of the global expansion team. I’m grateful to both of them for the opportunity to jump on board last June. Today, BeatBox is available in 13 Caribbean islands, Canada, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, and the entire United Kingdom. More countries will join the party in 2026 and beyond. Stay tuned!

Aimy Steadman shared thisFellow EO forum and Shark Tank friend Adelle Archer is hiring in Austin at EternevaAimy Steadman shared thisI'm looking for someone special to join the Eterneva team 💎 A few years ago, we started working with funeral homes to bring our memorial diamonds to families during their most vulnerable moments. Which is why I'm looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join our team and help scale up our funeral channel. We have major strategic partnerships coming online right now, and this person will be critical to that growth. This person will: * Train and enable partners to share Eterneva with confidence * Build strong relationships with funeral directors and cultivate referrals * Build trust with families and support them with moving forward * Help refine our growth playbook as we scale Expect to be out in the world - this role involves ~30-50% travel across Texas and beyond. The ideal person: * Has strong sales skills & love to win * Is naturally warm, charismatic & win people over * Thrives in entrepreneurial, builder environments * Brings positive energy & is mission-driven Has experience in: *pre-need sales, outside sales, territory management, business development, new market development, or entrepreneurship with sales chops What makes this special: * Work closely with me (founder) and a rockstar team * Be part of something deeply meaningful - supporting families through grief * Real impact on revenue and strategy as we scale This next hire must be Austin based, but I’d also love to hear from you if you’re in Texas, California, or Florida since we’ll be growing this team in 2026! Aimy Steadman reposted thisAimy Steadman reposted this🎶 Years ago, we dreamed of one day sponsoring Austin City Limits - and this year, that dream became reality in the biggest way possible. 🙌 Introducing the BeatBox Stage at ACL 🎉 Featuring world-renowned artists like Phantogram, Maren Morris, Japanese Breakfast, Rilo Kiley, Joey Valence & Brae, and so many more. Next to it, our 4,000 sq. ft. BeatBox Lounge is the ultimate festival hangout - serving frozen Mangonada cocktails, exclusive BeatBox x ACL merch, shaded lounge chairs, and a live DJ spinning on our custom BeatBox side-stage. Last weekend was one for the books — and we’re ready to run it back for Weekend 2. Let’s keep the party going, Austin. 💥

Aimy Steadman reposted thisAimy Steadman reposted this9 years ago we couldn't afford an ACL sponsorship, so we made these fun BeatBox branded balloons and walked to the fest. Genius idea... until the sun inflated the balloons and they all popped within 10 minutes. Well, this year we returned to ACL in a big way with a BeatBox STAGE and hospitality section. Mind Blowing. Unreal effort and execution from the best team and partners in the business. ❤️

Aimy Steadman reposted thisAimy Steadman reposted thisBIG NEW-TO-WORLD BRAND ALERT: BeatBox is stepping beyond its namesake party punch franchise with a second brand family — 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐬, 𝐚𝐧 8.1% (𝐭𝐡𝐞 "0.1% 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭") “𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭-𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐲-𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐲,” 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐌𝐁 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐀𝐁𝐕 𝐟𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐓𝐃𝐬. The Co. leveraged a "drip committee" of 20+ Latino cultural influencers (with a collective 4 million followers) for the brand's development, which they'll also leverage during rollout. “𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐚, 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐬,” they repeatedly said throughout a meeting last month, debuting the product to select wholesalers. It’s a big play for an increasingly larger producer, now about akin to the ninth largest brewer. Amazingly, aside from having dabbled in a seltzer brand around the early days of COVID, Tetra Pak-centric BeatBox has really only had one brand family. Until now. The new brand is "canned, it’s carbonated, and it’s coming to disrupt the industry, March, 2026,” per BeatBox CMO Brad Schultz. (Also importantly to the target consumer -- 20-something, second-generation, urban Hispanics -- it's 𝘯𝘰𝘵 beer.) 19.2 oz. cans target c-stores and Hispanic and regular grocery. The initial rollout will be focused on the Southwest, 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐚, 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐚, 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨, 𝐈𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐬, 𝐍𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐝𝐚, 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐌𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭. More in today’s BBD. Aimy Steadman liked thisAimy Steadman liked thisApparently, startups are like babies. Enough time passes and you forget the sleepless nights, the stress, and how completely they take over your life. Friends have a second or third, and suddenly another sounds reasonable. So, Dan Palumbo and I are having another startup. 🍼 Between meetings in SF this week, Dan and I snapped this pic outside 580 Market Street, old Pillow HQ. Photo 1 Seeing the old building sent me time-traveling through my photo roll. Swipe through to see the progression: the office turned into a Nerf war zone, and a screenshot I found from 1:10 AM on August 3, 2018. In that late-night shot, I am running on absolute fumes. We were deep in due diligence for Pillow’s acquisition by Expedia Group. We had a signed LOI, but the deal was far from done. Diligence was brutal, they could still walk away at any moment, and we had to show up every day acting completely normal around a team we weren't allowed to tell yet. 60 days later, we sold to Expedia a life-changing event for so many incredible people on our team. After two successful exits and getting deep into this third chapter, I’ve gotten reacquainted with the why. Why ride this masochistic roller coaster where the ratio of emotional lows to highs statistically makes zero sense? It comes down to ✌🏻 things: #1 who I’m building for, and #2 who I’m building it with. The companies I’ve built have completely different personalities and look different from the outside, but the part I cared about most never changed: giving everyday people a way to participate and earn. I get excited even typing this. At Notehall.com, students sold study guides they were already creating. At Pillow, people earned from short-term stays in their residential buildings. Across both, everyday people earned tens of millions of dollars. Hearing a teacher say their Pillow earnings paid for a summer vacation made the parts of startups that inevitably suck, suck a lot less. Side note: I’ve learned that running a company is only fun if you genuinely trust and respect the people in the trenches with you. Catching up with our Head of People Meg E. Maurer (photo 5) reminded me of that. Yup, cliché, and true. Now, Dan and I are doing it again. And we feel a responsibility to bring that exact same thesis into the AI era. As AI makes more of the internet synthetic, and frankly fake, we think real human participation should become more valuable, not less.… and that everyday people should be able to earn from the value they create. We’re deep in the build & grow mode right now. Outfitted with my startup tee + backpack and cruising past 580 Market just felt right. I don't want to live in the past, but I still love building meaningful things with people I care about... P.S. This is my first real post in 4+ years, so I’m dusting off the boots. If you're building, investing, have opinions, or just want to say hey, drop a comment or DM. I'd love to hear from you and reconnect.

Aimy Steadman liked thisAimy Steadman liked thisThis post is long overdue. With the recent Anheuser-Busch acquisition of BeatBox Beverages, my time with the company ended a couple months ago. The last three years have been the most rewarding of my career. I’m tremendously grateful to have been afforded the chance to be a part of something so special. We built this rocket ship brand behind our founders, Justin Fenchel, Aimy Steadman, and Brad Schultz who incorporated a “No A-Hole” policy, coupled with their use of rave culture & P.L.U.R. They founded the core values of the company on those principles and built an organization comprised of best in class talent. But more importantly, really nice people, incredibly skilled at what they do. #ThePeopleAreGreat Some folks to recognize. Thank you all for your strong leadership and guidance along the way. Phil J., Erick Holloway, Steven Parada, Mark McQuilliams Lastly, I’m incredibly excited to share I’ve accepted a role as Area Sales Manager with Good Boy Vodka Inc. I look forward to representing and contributing to the growth of this great brand with a great cause! #EveryPourHelpsAPup

Aimy Steadman liked thisAimy Steadman liked thisCareer plot twist! I'm excited to share with this community that I've returned home to North Carolina to lead the Raleigh market for J.P. Morgan Private Bank. I could not be more excited about this next chapter because it is all about the opportunity to build. Raleigh sits at the center of one of the fastest growing wealth markets in the country - where founders, executives and families are creating incredible success. Just as importantly, I'm excited to build a team and a business that reflects the ambition, innovation and character of the Triangle - a community that is near and dear to my heart. North Carolina happens to be where it all started for me - I'm a proud Tar Heel, and it feels especially meaningful to return home (after 2 decades!) and reconnect with old friends, classmates and relationships that shaped me early on. And while I'm focused on what's ahead, it's impossible not to reflect on what I'm leaving behind in Colorado, which was an incredible chapter full of growth, opportunity and relationships that I'll always carry with me. Grateful for everything the "Give First" community in Denver and Boulder has given me, and I will bring the amazing energy from that market to this next chapter. Our Raleigh team is excited to bring the full capabilities of the Private Bank to this community - partnering with families on the moments that matter the most. If you're in the Triangle, I'd love to connect. Whether it's learning more about what you're building and how the firm can support you, or sharing what J.P. Morgan is building in this community, I'd love to get together. Cheers to what's next with these wonderful partners - Carrie Galloway, Christopher Nolan, Chris Brandriff, Simon Levine, Joshua Navarro, Charlotte Burnett, Nicholas Poston, Nathan Dnistran, Conor Clougherty, Caleb Wood, CFP®

Aimy Steadman liked thisAimy Steadman liked thisLast week marked the end of an era — one I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of. My chapter at BeatBox has come to a close. In my almost 3 years at BeatBox, I was challenged, stretched, and ultimately experienced the proudest milestone of my career to date: building and leading an exceptional team. Together, we built something special. We created scalable processes to manage and deliver insights across the organization. We partnered with our teams to define and articulate the “fourth category” to buyers. We helped wholesalers understand the opportunity BeatBox brings to their portfolios. We led the research and strategy behind BeatBox’s first-ever price increase — driving profitability for both the business and our wholesalers without sacrificing velocity. We built a full suite of dashboards to give every function visibility into wins worth celebrating and opportunities worth pursuing. We segmented category consumers, identified our core target, and established a true understanding of awareness — measuring our growth over time. We weren’t just an Insights & Analytics team within Finance. We were an extension of Marketing, Sales, Operations, Innovation and People & Culture. We were strategic partners, and I’m proud of the role we played in fueling BeatBox’s growth alongside so many talented cross-functional team members. Beyond the numbers, I’m especially proud to have founded BeatBox’s Women’s Group alongside Makenna Poole, creating a space for connection, mentorship, and growth across the organization. Building community alongside capability is something I’ll always value. I’m deeply grateful to Justin Fenchel, Brad Schultz and Aimy Steadman for taking a chance on me, for valuing my perspective, and for demonstrating how leading with P.L.U.R. can shape and elevate an organization’s culture. Thank you for reading every report, every analysis, and for consistently championing our work. Patrick Brang — thank you for being an incredible leader and mentor. You pushed me when I needed it most, valued my perspective, and gave me the opportunity to grow from Category Director to VP of Finance. I aspire to lead with even a fraction of the strength and humanity you bring every day. To the BeatBox leadership team — thank you for showing what’s possible when we align around shared goals and truly operate as one team. And to my incredible team — leading you has been the honor of my career. I will miss working alongside you, but I can’t wait to watch all that you accomplish next. Today marks the beginning of a new chapter with Anheuser-Busch. I love this industry, and I’m excited to continue learning and growing with one of the best in the biz. Cheers!

Aimy Steadman liked thisAimy Steadman liked thisA little over two years ago, thanks to the support and belief from Mark White , I took a leap into something new with BeatBox Beverages. This past week, as we move toward finalizing the stakeholder transition with Anheuser-Busch, has given me a chance to reflect on just how special this journey has been. What started as an opportunity quickly became something more, building a brand, solving complex challenges, creating momentum, and most importantly, forming genuine friendships with incredibly talented people. Together, we pushed boundaries, delivered meaningful growth, and proved what’s possible when passion, trust, and execution align. I’m proud of what we built, grateful for the people who made it possible, and excited to see the vision of BeatBox continue to manifest into its full potential. The momentum continues. Thank you, Justin Fenchel , Aimy Steadman and Brad Schultz , not only for an incredible journey, but for the way you’ve led through this transition, with integrity, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to your people. First-class founders. #Gratitude #Growth #Leadership #Teamwork #BeyondBeer #Momentum

Before I became a VC, I was a founder six times. Those experiences permanently changed the way I think about venture capital. A check can accelerate a company. It cannot replace customers, judgment, technical expertise, recruiting, and perseverance. Or, perhaps most importantly, someone willing to tell a founder hard truths when the easy answers are wrong. I’ve also come to believe something else: Capital is necessary. It is nowhere close to sufficient. Good VCs help you close your next round. Great VCs help you build a lasting business from scratch. I’m grateful to the National Venture Capital Association and Jessica W. for featuring our story and giving me the opportunity to talk about what Cortado Ventures is building across the U.S. Midcontinent. There is extraordinary innovation happening in aerospace & defense, energy, healthcare, manufacturing, mobility, logistics, space and other critical industries. In this era of rapid change, we believe that proximity will matter even more. And this is just the beginning. #VentureCapital #FrontierTech #Midcontinent
