✾ Justin Moodley reposted thisKids are losing their ability to think. The OECD just studied nearly 800,000 students across 91 countries, and across practically every geography, the results were the same. Reading, math, and science scores each hit the lowest number ever recorded. The culprit is hiding in plain sight. Students who never use AI to draft their writing scored 509 in science, while students who use it daily scored 481 — a gap equivalent to a year and a half of teaching. In other words, the kids who use ChatGPT the most know the least. Last week, as the world bickered about whether AI will "kill all humans," this much more serious story went unnoticed. Full breakdown is below.

✾ Justin Moodley reposted this✾ Justin Moodley reposted thisDream Jobs in Sports part 43 On Fridays, I’ve been sharing open roles across the sports industry — across different levels, functions, and types of companies. It started because of one of the questions I get most often: how do you actually get a job in sports? Most people focus only on teams or big brands. But that’s just one small part of the ecosystem. There are roles across leagues, media, technology, fitness, b2b, services and consumer companies — all shaping how people experience sports. If you widen the lens in type, function and size- a lot more doors open. So I’ve been posting roles that I think are genuinely interesting and worth a look. If you’re exploring a move into the industry, hopefully it’s useful. And just to say — I’m not the hiring manager for these roles, so I can’t get involved in the process. But.. if you are in the Portland area, our recruiters will be there end of the month looking for relevant talent seeking for a move to the Philly area (For a ton of other dream jobs on brands that lead culture follow my friend Justin Taylor) FULL TIME JOBS: VP, Product and Design- NFL (New York) https://lnkd.in/gw6hbnJW Associate VP and Chief Commercial / Chief Revenue Officer- The Ohio State University (Ohio) https://lnkd.in/g8rJJQtU Creative and Sports Partnerships Director - OMD (London) https://lnkd.in/geiA_MeK Creative lead, EA Sports - EA (Los Angeles) https://lnkd.in/gByaAmQc Director, Marketing Event and Experiences- Puma (Germany) https://lnkd.in/gWEng6eR Head of Communications, Football Australia (New South Wales) https://lnkd.in/gtXymeYD International Marketing program Manager- Columbia Sportswear (Portland) https://lnkd.in/gQwwnfDd Lead, Benefits EMEA- UnderArmour (Amsterdam) https://lnkd.in/gRw2fvNt Lead, Partner and Deal Analysis, Global Media and Sports - YouTube - Google (Bay Area) https://lnkd.in/gCKkdJtm Manager, Fan and Soccer Community Experiences - US Soccer Federation (Atlanta) https://lnkd.in/g_Thf4B4 Senior Director of Collectors Relations, Europe- Fanatics (London) https://lnkd.in/gEpSytxS Senior Manager, Brand Strategy - Bayern Munich (Munich) https://lnkd.in/gi_WMWEY Senior Manager, Business Operations- Adidas (portland) https://lnkd.in/gG_Cb8T4 Senior Manager, Global Product Marketing, NBA - 2K (Bay Area) https://lnkd.in/gEEKNntZ Strategy and Planning Sr Manager- Concacaf (Miami) https://lnkd.in/gyNqwRPr VP of Marketing- LA Clippers (Los Angeles) https://lnkd.in/ggTGCDtn

So what’s the key to smarter phone use? When you’re trying to concentrate, get some distance between you and your phone. ✾ Justin Moodley reposted thisThe Affordable Housing Alliance of Central Ohio wants to hear from you on how the price of housing and utilities affects your every day life. If you live in the Central Ohio area, I encourage you to take this survey and share it with your network. The more information we have, the more empowered we are to design thoughtful solutions!✾ Justin Moodley reposted this**NEW SURVEY ALERT** At the Affordable Housing Alliance of Central Ohio, I (gladly!) spend a lot of time looking at data and thinking about policy solutions. But raw numbers can only tell part of the story. We also need to hear directly from the people who live and work in our community. Whether you rent or own, whether you're struggling with housing or feeling more secure, we want to hear your perspective. Please take a few quick minutes to complete our 2026 Housing & Utilities Survey: https://lnkd.in/eK_GtHPB. And if you are a leader at your workplace or in your neighborhood, please share with your networks. It’s short, and every response helps us build a better picture of what housing affordability actually looks like across Central Ohio. Thank you!! (and shout out to the members our of research committee and the team at @measurement-resources-company for guiding this important project!) LINK: https://lnkd.in/eK_GtHPB.

✾ Justin Moodley liked this✾ Justin Moodley liked thisThe moat compounds until the architecture rotates. OpenAI has the biggest flywheel in AI history → more users, more data, better models, more users. Every analyst agrees the gap widens. The problem: a flywheel built on one architecture doesn't transfer to the next. History has a word for advantages that don't survive the rotation. It's called the previous cycle ⤵

✾ Justin Moodley liked thisI Am Boundless is an amazing organization making true impact in our community. Honored to partner with them in their growth.✾ Justin Moodley liked thisSome brands don’t need a revolution – sometimes they need someone who can help keep the identity people love, while embracing the next chapter ahead 💙 We’re grateful I Am Boundless trusted us with exactly that. When the nonprofit was acquired by their new parent company Merakey, the question wasn’t whether to change but how to evolve it gracefully. Over a focused 4-week sprint, we reworked the logo, evolved the color and type systems, codified the brand’s voice, and delivered a complete toolbox so they can step confidently into their new family with a strong foundation. The work focused on: - Honoring the mark’s history while opening it up to feel more modern - Brightening the palette to sit confidently with Merakey’s - Building a type system for the whole organization to use - Writing language guidelines rooted in respect for the communities Boundless serves 2x per week check-ins. 24-hour feedback loop. A client team fully engaged on every call, even while navigating an acquisition. That’s what made this fast and complete. The result: a brand that feels instantly familiar and genuinely new. Same mission, new chapter – and we’re proud to have helped carry that forward. Want the thinking behind the work?
