Amber Jones shared this💥 NEW STUDY: Nearly 85% of Americans report their companies have not invested financially in recruiting racially diverse employees since June 2020. In fact, BIPOC are 2x as likely to have experienced workplace discrimination related to their race or ethnicity. Hue's report released today, “State of Inequity: Building A Brighter Future for BIPOC at Work,” showcases the inequities caused by a lack of corporate action over the past three years and provides data-backed solutions to address these gaps. During my time there, I had the opportunity to work across multiple teams and departments, take on new challenges, and build lasting relationships with some truly exceptional people. Navigating the B2B SaaS and tech space taught me more than I could have imagined — and I'm carrying all of that forward. Looking back, I'm proud of the work I did and the relationships I built across multiple teams and departments. Spending half a decade growing inside a B2B SaaS and tech company gave me a depth of experience I'm excited to bring to a new organization. As of recently, my time at Justworks has come to an end, and I'm now actively exploring my next opportunity. Last month she had a list of 200 creators. She built it the way we all do … scrolling Instagram on a Sunday, saving anyone who looked “on brand”. But the "on brand" look is more of a vibe check than a real strategy. One night we sat down and rebuilt the list inside Modash. copy this strategy ↓ → Filtered by category so we're only seeing creators in her niche → Set audience size to what she can actually convert (not chasing vanity follows) → Real engagement rates, not inflated numbers → Uploaded an image of the aesthetic we like and it recommended creators based on their content 200 names became 47 that fit. If you're running e-comm creator campaigns (especially for Shopify), this tool saved us hours of scrolling and guessing. 📌 save this if you're building a gifting campaign ♻️ repost if you know a founder who needs this #ModashPartner #ad

Words can't describe how thankful I am to have built such a fulfilling career over the last decade at a company I love. To Josh Wand and Sean Conner thank you for bringing your idea to life 17 years ago. It’s afforded a lot of us the opportunity to make our professional dreams come true. Thank you to every person I've connected with over the last ten years. Whether we met once, or have been talking for the last decade I've enjoyed every conversation. For now, I'm going to take the time to properly enjoy a Chicago summer and reflect on what's next for me in the upcoming chapter of life. Two things I'm very excited about.

🚨Attention freelancers: this job search tactic isn't working in your favor.🚨 I recently received a job inquiry submitted through my project request form and I want to address this directly, because I know the market is tough right now. I blocked the person's name because I have no interest in calling anyone out publicly, especially a young designer navigating a difficult situation. But the lesson here is worth sharing. 📣Don't submit project request forms to pitch yourself for work.📣 When you do, you get a business owner genuinely excited about a potential project, only for them to realize it's a job inquiry. That's a frustrating experience for both sides, and it won't leave a good impression. If you want to reach out to a small business owner, find their direct contact info. An email address is often right there on their website or LinkedIn profile. A straightforward, honest message will always land better than a workaround. The job market is hard. I get it. But not behaving like a spammer will serve you better in the long run.
