Jamie Dimon shared thisAmerica still remains a global beacon of freedom and hope. Billions of people would move here if they could because of our opportunities. And if global investors could invest in only one country, it would be the United States. But we can't take that for granted. America's strength rests on three things: maintaining the world's preeminent military, remaining the world's preeminent economy, and reigniting the American Dream and the values that made this nation great. Those pillars are deeply connected. A strong economy supports a strong military. Strong alliances reinforce both. And neither can endure if too many people feel left behind. That's why this is a crucial moment for big ideas. A renewed commitment to American values and alliances, coupled with bold reforms by Europe, would be a geopolitical and economic home run that strengthens the Western world for generations to come. We must rededicate ourselves to the values and principles, including free enterprise, that made this nation great. Read more in my The Wall Street Journal op-ed. https://lnkd.in/e_RrhYA3

Jamie Dimon shared thisToday marks the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks — a day that forever changed our country and the world. It is a solemn time as we pay tribute to the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives in New York City, Washington, D.C., and near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, as well as their families and loved ones who continue to endure their absence. On that day, we saw the very best of America. We will never forget the firefighters, police officers and EMTs who ran toward danger, including FDNY First Deputy Fire Commissioner William “Bill” Feehan, the FDNY’s oldest and highest-ranking member lost on 9/11. The photo here is of Chief Feehan’s helmet which serves as a reminder of the service and courage we honor, and of a legacy that lives on, including through his son, a long-time employee and leader at JPMorganChase. Like Chief Feehan, so many others helped people out of harm’s way, and we will always remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice to save others. Because of their heroism, America’s resolve remains forever strong. As we reflect on this 25th anniversary, we acknowledge that the passage of time does not diminish our sorrow, but it is a reminder of the solidarity that can emerge from tragedy — and of our shared responsibility to strengthen our communities and stand with those who protect them.

Jamie Dimon reacted on thisJamie Dimon reacted on thisShould you push back on your CEO? Become a creator? Is college still worth it? Those are some of the questions Jamie Dimon, John Stankey and Daniel Roth got into when they sat down together at JPMorganChase in Manhattan. They were there to celebrate a 125-year relationship between JPMorganChase and AT&T. But the conversation quickly moved from the past to what work and careers look like now. Here’s some of where it went.

Jamie Dimon reacted on thisJamie Dimon reacted on this125 years ago, AT&T went public and solidified a relationship with J.P. Morgan that would help shape its next era of growth. At the time, these companies were rising forces in a world that was about to go through a series of technological revolutions. To put it in context, at the time of the IPO, no airplane had ever flown, New York didn’t have a subway, there were only about 10,000 cars in the entire U.S. Clearly a lot has changed. The three of us — Jamie Dimon, John Stankey, and Daniel Roth — met up at JPMorganChase in Manhattan to talk about what hasn’t: How leaders navigate massive shifts, why employees should challenge leadership, and what century-old companies might look like another 100 years from now. Jamie Dimon shared thisEvery summer, I look forward to my annual bus tour and spending time with JPMorganChase employees, clients, and community partners. This year, we spent five days traveling down through California, visiting six markets where we’re growing our business and making local investments — advancing the American Dream, strengthening security and resiliency, and building momentum toward the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games, where we’re proud to be the Official Bank and a Founding Partner. Most importantly, seeing the work up close and having candid conversations helps us learn what’s working, what’s needed, and where we can do more to expand economic opportunity in the communities we serve. Thank you to everyone who welcomed us along the way.

Jamie Dimon shared thisOn July 4, we’ll mark a milestone unlike any other — the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. It’s a moment to reflect on the values that have shaped this nation from the start — freedom, liberty and opportunity — and to remember that each generation has a responsibility to carry them forward. When I think about freedom, I think about the American Dream: the belief that if you work hard, treat people with respect and try to do the right thing, you can build a better future for your family and your community. At JPMorganChase, our history has been linked with this country for more than two centuries. That legacy brings pride — and a duty to keep investing in what comes next. This year, we launched our American Dream Initiative to help expand economic opportunity — supporting small businesses, improving housing access and affordability, creating jobs and helping more people build financial security. Freedom isn’t just something we celebrate. We renew it every day — together. America250 Freedom 250

Jamie Dimon shared thisThe world is increasingly complex, and many of our largest issues require government and business working together. We have a responsibility to lend our expertise, our ideas, and often our own resources to help shape our future. That’s why I’m proud to introduce “From the desk of,” a forum where JPMorganChase’s senior leaders will share their perspectives on public policy and the ideas, issues, and context that shape these choices. Jamie Dimon shared thisToday marks a significant milestone for JPMorganChase. We are honored to become the first Global Banking Partner in Olympic history. We are proud to also become the Official Bank of Team USA and the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and a Founding Partner of the LA28 Games, reflecting our commitment to communities in the U.S. and around the globe. This is more than a sponsorship. It’s a commitment to investing in the dreams and ambitions of the people and communities we serve. These athletes are not just competitors; they are our customers, clients and colleagues. We support them at every stage—banking the communities they call home, financing the facilities where they train, and helping them start businesses and plan for their futures. Their journeys reflect the aspirations of millions we serve every day. I am proud of what this partnership represents for our firm and for our colleagues who help make dreams possible for everyone, everywhere, every day. https://lnkd.in/ekZmdwiH

Jamie Dimon shared thisToday I released my annual letter to shareholders. It’s a chance to be direct about what I’m seeing across JPMorganChase, America and the world. We’re living through a complex time. In the letter I cover the geopolitical environment and the importance of economic alliances, and what they mean for security and economic stability. I also discuss competition old and new, AI, banking regulations, risk and management lessons I’ve learned along the way. Thank you to our employees for the extraordinary work you do every day, and to our clients and communities for your trust and collaboration. I’m proud of JPMorganChase’s resiliency and what our teams across the world are achieving, collectively and individually. I hope you’ll take the time to read the full letter. https://lnkd.in/di2psdNt

MUFG's Head of U.S. Macro Strategy George G. recently appeared on Bloomberg Surveillance to discuss last week's Treasury buybacks news and US rates, saying the larger challenge is persistent U.S. fiscal deficits. George highlighted that Treasury yields are affected by competition for capital from global sovereigns and private-sector institutions borrowing heavily for investments like AI infrastructure. Lastly, he discussed what to expect from Fed Chair Warsh's speech at the Jackson Hole event. In a new Bank Director op-ed, Ludwig Advisors’ Mark Midkiff reflects on the themes heard at recent industry forums — including Bank Director’s Acquire or Be Acquired Conference — and conversations with bank executives. Across these discussions, five themes consistently surfaced: • macro uncertainty, • regulatory recalibration, • AI reshaping operating models, • evolving digital asset strategies, and • a disciplined reopening of M&A. The takeaway: Growth is back on the agenda, yet it’s being considered through the lenses of soundness, profitability, and operational capacity. Read the full piece: https://lnkd.in/gQt_K9a9

Bridgewater’s overhaul under CEO Nir Bar Dea is delivering stronger fund performance — but not enough to convince all of its own investors. Three years into the revamp, the hedge fund is leaner and its flagship macro fund posted record performance in 2025. Despite this, some institutional shareholders are exiting. Two of the firm’s seven owners have sold their stakes back to Bridgewater at a discount, while the Teacher Retirement System of Texas is also looking to exit after marking down its holding by 9%. The divergence highlights a disconnect between improving investment performance and investor confidence in the firm’s valuation and long-term outlook.
