Lori Levine shared thisOctober is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but for me, this mission is deeply personal every day of the year. Scott's Protein Balls began during one of the most difficult chapters of my life: my breast cancer journey. What started in our kitchen became something much bigger than Scott Levine, CPA and me. It became a way to turn a frightening experience into meaningful action. Today, we proudly donate 1% of every purchase to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Every bag sold helps support the research that gives more women hope, more families time, and more survivors the chance to write their next chapter. This month, I’ll be sharing more about the people, experiences, and purpose behind our mission. Because breast cancer awareness deserves more than a month. It deserves our continued attention, investment, and action

Lori Levine shared thisSo grateful to have our journey shared in this way. ❤️ What started with Scott making protein balls in our kitchen for our family became something we never imagined we’d build into a business. Entrepreneurship has taught us that sometimes the right answer is “not yet” — and that building the right foundation matters. Honored to be recognized as a 2026 NAWRB Food & Wellness Leader and looking forward to SHETalk on October 5!

Lori Levine shared thisI was so excited to make my first trip to Minneapolis and, even more importantly, meet our Target buyer in person. There’s something so special about getting in the room, talking about the brand, and dreaming up what’s next. I’m so excited for the future of Scott's Protein Balls at Target, and we are so grateful for the partnership, and looking forward to what’s ahead! ❤️ #ScottsProteinBalls #Target #FounderLife #WomenInBusiness #CPG

Lori Levine shared thisThere is something special about seeing Scott's Protein Balls exactly where they are meant to be: within reach of busy people looking for a convenient, clean-ingredient snack. Being on Target shelves gives new shoppers the chance to discover us during their everyday routines. Maybe they are grabbing breakfast before work, looking for an afternoon snack, or trying something new for the first time. As a founder, it is easy to focus on the big milestones. But growth often happens through small moments, one person noticing the bag, reading the label, taking it home, and returning for another. If you find Scott’s Protein Balls at your local Target, I would love to know which flavor you chose.

Lori Levine shared thisIt’s National Scott’s Protein Balls Day! 🎉 Every package represents years of hard work, plenty of lessons, an incredible community, and a mission that has remained at the heart of everything we do: creating delicious snacks with ingredients you can feel good about while giving back to breast cancer research. To celebrate, we are offering 20% off sitewide with code SCOTTSDAY now through September 27. Here’s to building something meaningful, one protein ball at a time!

Lori Levine shared thisSome of our youngest fans have officially spoken… and apparently our packaging is almost as exciting as what’s inside. As a founder, there are plenty of milestones you plan for: launching a product, entering a new retailer, growing your team and reaching more customers. Then there are the moments you could never plan, the photos captured, the families who bring your product into their routines and the little faces that remind you exactly who you are building for. Although I think our tiniest taste tester may need a few teeth before giving us the full review!

Lori Levine liked thisLori Levine liked thisSo excited to represent The Vitamin Shoppe at Founderland tomorrow! One of my favorite parts of being a merchant is discovering what’s next, building meaningful partnerships with founders and brands, and bringing great products to our customers. I’m looking forward to hosting The Vitamin Shoppe’s Retail Den session, where I’ll share what makes us unique as a retail partner, what we look for, and what goes into a successful launch and long-term partnership. Thank you to Sean Kelly and the Founderland.us team for inviting me to be part of it! Looking forward to seeing everyone in Malibu! 🌴

Lori Levine liked thisLori Levine liked thisI wasn’t expecting to see this when taking baby Sienna out for a stroll! Wow. Founderland energy is strong in SoCal this week. So darn impressed by the job our Production & Promotion teams are doing Shannon Kelly Julie Fabricant And looking forward to exceeding your expectations at the festival. Won’t be easy but we’re up for it. I cannot wait for you to see what the team has built! Working 365 days for a 1 day event is kinda insane haha (well 3 days if you count our AGM the 2 days prior for our LPs) Anyway, just convinced Calamigos Ranch in Malibu to let us accept 50 or so additional people off the waitlist. Pushing for 100. So apply if you wanna come through! More to come on that. Let’s roll!

Lori Levine liked thisLori Levine liked this🎉 I AM SO PROUD to introduce the five brands joining BeyondCPG's Track 7 - our first-ever nationwide cohort! Over the next 12 weeks, these mission-driven founders will dive into a program built to help them scale with purpose - with hands-on mentorship from BeyondBrands and a curriculum covering branding, investment strategy, marketing, supply chain, and more. It all builds toward a Showcase Pitch Event in January 2027, where they'll pitch to mission-aligned investors, retailers, and industry leaders. Meet the Track 7 cohort: 🧁 Batch Balanced - Frozen, high-protein muffin batter that makes healthy meal prep as easy as thaw, squeeze, and bake. ☕ Cabu Latte - The first latte powered by cacao butter (not dairy, nut, or oat milk), made with upcycled cacao for a creamy, sustainable sip. 💪 Engineered Nutrition - Science-backed, single-serving supplement stick packs built for hydration, recovery, and performance without compromise. 🌿 Goldholly Yaupon Co. - A clean-energy beverage made from yaupon holly, America's only native caffeinated plant grown and sourced right here in the Southeast. ⚡ Underdog Performance, Inc - A healthier energy drink for athletes and health-conscious consumers, with time-released caffeine for sustained focus. None of this could be possible without our incredible Track 7 sponsors: NielsenIQ, Polsinelli, ePac Flexible Packaging, Giannuzzi Lewendon, LLP, Hummingbirds, Ignyt Growth, mindsight, Truli, Wayflyer, Withum, Bison Bag Co Inc, Ten32 Media, ForceBrands, and Naturally New York. The U.S. wine and spirits market has plummeted from its pandemic highs. At-home consumption pulled demand forward, and what followed has been a reset marked by softer volumes, rising inventories, and a consumer who is drinking less and thinking more about health. Spirits have been more resilient, but even there growth is slowing. Wine is the clear laggard, losing relevance across multiple price points. The issue is generational. Gen Z and Generation Alpha are not adopting alcohol the way Baby Boomers did. Wellness, moderation, and alternative social rituals are reshaping the landscape. Penfolds sees that clearly. This move is about customer acquisition, not brand awareness. Pop Icon Troye Sivan brings cultural relevance, not just reach. He connects the brand to a younger, global audience that lives at the intersection of music, fashion, and digital culture. But wine still carries signals of formality and occasion that don’t naturally align with how younger consumers engage.

Searching for growth? General Mills has announced plans to boldly go after the over 55s in their quest to increase volumes. While much of CPG chases 18-45s or the latest wellness fad, General Mills is placing its bets on three under-the-radar, high-leverage consumer groups: - Adults aged 55 +, who account for nearly half of U.S. households and have enormous spending power. - Consumers using GLP-1 medications (up to 12%+ of U.S. adults), who’re eating less but seeking more protein, more functional nutrients, smaller portions. - Hispanic shoppers, where General Mills plans to ramp up innovation and engagement by ~40% in FY26. This move takes product renovation in new directions - redesigning products and formats to match how people now live, eat and feel. They’re innovating for smaller households (smaller pack sizes), higher-protein need states, functional nutrition and not just indulgence. And this isn’t an isolated move. It’s part of a broader CPG reboot as the absence of growth looms.
