Tyler Helikson shared thisI’ve spoken with a lot of fellow business owners the last few days and in times like these I would encourage leaders remain visible, vulnerable, and transparent. My heart breaks for everyone affected by COVID-19 and to our teams who show up every day to serve our communities. This is decimating the restaurant industry and many others and we will need help to get through this and I pray the government steps in when we need them most. There’s no doubt the next few weeks/months will be challenging but we will get through this. The way in which the entire globe has come together has provided much needed hope and a reminder that we truly are all connected. Stay safe friends and take care of each other.

Tyler Helikson posted this“How are you developing your people capability?” I’m grateful to have mentors who constantly ask me this question. This begins with a genuine passion for people and a desire to grow your leaders and organization. I’m always curious to learn about new ideas, tools, technology, and resources others are using to help develop their people. Would love and appreciate any and all thoughts on this. What have you found to be most helpful in developing your people capability? #leadership #leadershipdevelopment #mentors #passionforpeople #alwayscurious

Tyler Helikson liked thisTyler Helikson liked thisWell, for the first time in my career, I'm a free agent. Resigning as President of the Carolina Hurricanes & Lenovo Center was a tough decision, but one that has given me peace. I appreciate all that Tom Dundon is doing for our area and specifically for the team that I love. I thank him for giving me the opportunity at this important role during a historic time period for this team and Arena. Many of the memories from the last season will stay with me forever and the work we’ve been doing will continue to materialize for years to come. I truly enjoyed working with Brian Fork, Eric Tulsky, Rod Brind’Amour and the rest of the team’s management. There is great leadership throughout the organization that I was lucky to work with and learn from. The unknown is a little daunting and intimidating but it’s also very exciting. I’ve learned so much over the last decade and I'm eager to find my next “full-time” challenge. In the meantime, I have set-up a consulting company, Soundside Strategies (give “us” a follow) to work on some projects with friends and former colleagues. If you have any leads - for either my next full-time adventure or side project - send them my way. As always – Go Canes!

Tyler Helikson liked thisTyler Helikson liked thisEarlier this month I completed my USSF Goalkeeper C License with US Soccer. I was fortunate to be surrounded by a number of great coaches and instructors through the process. It's encouraging to see an educational pathway for goalkeeper coaches in this country and I'm grateful to have been in the inaugural class.

Tyler Helikson liked thisTyler Helikson liked thisThere is one pillar in my life that has always supported me. Through the ups and downs, the good times and the bad, my devotion to my health has been the backbone of my success. I could never have the mental clarity or physical strength to get through the most trying and difficult times, without my Health + Fitness. It is everything in my life. And it is the reason why I am successful today. People talk a lot about goals and strategies and hustling around the clock. Sure you need all that. But it’s meaningless without your Health. So take care of you mind & body. Eat right…Hydrate And get clear on what you want. Clarity is power. But that power can only come through a foundation of health. So ask yourself this question. Are you eating healthy? Are you taking care of your body and working out daily ? Or are you being lazy and eating poorly which is poison for your body! Because, the more you poison your body with fast food, alcohol, cigarettes and sugar, the more you’re destroying your chances for true success. So Start you day with a WIN!! Get in that workout, have a fresh pressed green drink, and read ten minutes of something positive and uplifting to get your day started with a spring in your step 🔥🔥full of positive, contagious ENERGY👊👊 Start your day with a Win….#stealth3minutes #stealthcoretrainer #stealthfitness #plankchallenge #HealthIsWealth #Inspirational #HowieMethod #Entrepreneurship #thinkbillions #billiondollarbrandbuilder
