On this episode of CultivatED Marketer, hosted by Brent Bowen, Matt Tidwell, Ph.D., APR and Julie Masson, Signal Theory’s VP of Strategy, Samantha Scantlebury, talks about how her team spent an entire year doing something most strategists never get the chance to do: sit down with someone new every week and just listen. No agenda. No pitch. No product waiting at the end. Just a conversation. ✔ A new person each week, from different walks of life, ages, ethnicities and careers ✔ Sam calls it one of the most rewarding things she’s done ✔ Her takeaway: Brands can enter people’s lives through the right emotional openings Hear the rest of what she learned from just listening: https://lnkd.in/g9p8BxjH #Podcast #BrandStrategy #SignalTheory

Brand is a business accelerant. For Kelly Fredrickson, it’s not just a belief—it’s a truth she proves over and over again, for one great brand after another. Most recently at T. Rowe Price, and soon at Vanguard. “You have to build brand awareness in order to capture potential customers when they’re in market,” says Kelly. We couldn’t agree more. Watch the full episode (link in the comments) for more of Kelly’s wisdom on brand-building and team-building. #WomenOwnedAgency #IndependentAgency #BostonAdvertising #NewEnglandAdvertising #CreativeAdvertising #Podcast

Michelle Djong said something that stopped me mid-conversation. 🪞 Your business is a direct reflection of the habits you bring to it every day. If things feel like they're stalling, this is a gentle nudge to look at your own patterns before looking anywhere else. 🌿 The full episode goes into how this idea showed up in both of our businesses. 🎙️ #BusinessMindset #HabitsForSuccess #SelfDiscipline #GrowthMindset #EntrepreneurMindset #DailyHabits #BusinessGrowth #MindsetShift #ProductivityTips #SelfImprovement #SuccessHabits #BusinessOwnerLife #PersonalGrowth #IntentionalLiving #FounderMindset #ConsistencyIsKey #SmallBusinessOwner #WomenInBusiness #EntrepreneurLife #SelfAwareness #BusinessRealTalk #GoalSetting #HabitBuilding #MindsetMatters #BuildYourBusiness #FemaleFounder #TSMCollective #PodcastClip #BusinessTips #GrowthJourney

Visibility is key, but it's not just about being seen – it's about being *heard* by the right people. Talking is easy; communicating your unique value is where the magic happens. Generic messages get lost in the noise. To truly connect and stand out, you need to speak directly to your audience, highlighting what makes you different – not just your credentials, but *how* you serve and *what* you do that sets you apart. When you're visible and speaking your truth, you become the obvious choice for those seeking exactly what you offer. Let's get seen and heard! #Visibility #PersonalBranding #Communication #Authenticity #MuhamiMatters #Podcast

Can the colors you wear affect how much presence you have in a room? On Speaker Dynamics - Own The Room, I talk with wardrobe stylist and certified color analyst Claire Roberts, owner of Claire Roberts Style, about the connection she sees between color, personality and executive presence. Claire explains that strong personalities tend to pull toward vibrant palettes, and those same people often end up leading in their organizations. The right vibrant tone can give someone presence without overpowering them. I also share what I remember from my years in TV news, when we were taught to wear bright jewel tones on camera, and wonder whether those stronger colors may have helped convey authority and credibility. If you've ever wondered whether color can play a role in how you come across, this conversation gives you plenty to think about. What does it actually take to merge two teams into one aligned partnership? Most teams don't struggle with vision; they struggle with follow-through. It's easy to get a group in a room and agree that communication should be clearer, that response times should be faster, and that everyone should feel more supported. It's much harder to turn that agreement into something specific enough to actually hold each other to. In today’s episode of The UpLevel Podcast, witness part two of our Designed Alliance conversation, our Brand Acceleration and Operations teams did the harder version. They talked about wanting better communication, and then they built it, line by line: what counts as an acceptable response time, how to flag something urgent without defaulting to text, and what it means to make a request someone can actually say yes to, no to, or counter offer. Our team also did something most teams skip entirely. They named their saboteurs out loud, the internal voices that show up under pressure and tell us we're not doing enough, and agreed to call each other out with love when those voices start running the show. This is the difference between a values statement and a working culture. One lives on a slide. The other gets tested every time an email goes unanswered. We would be so grateful if you shared this with your network, too. #UpLevelPodcast #Top10Podcast #Top4Podcast #CoachingCulture #LeadershipDevelopment #FutureOfWork
