When I started LMB Group years ago, I quickly realized that while having a great service was essential, our commitment to our core values truly set us apart. Integrity, sustainability, and community weren't just buzzwords; they were the foundation of everything we did and still do. This just reminds me of an impactful experience during the early days of LMB Group. We had a choice to take on a lucrative project that didn't align with our values or stick to our principles and risk significant financial gains. We chose the latter, and it was a defining moment. It reinforced the importance of staying true to our values, no matter the cost. There's an art and science to developing products, services, and a business. But what if you applied that same art and science to working in alignment with your values? Hear me out, this will get clearer. In business, the art lies in crafting unique ideas, designing appealing products, and telling compelling stories that connect with our audience. The science involves leveraging data, optimizing processes, and continuous improvement through research and development. Right? Right. Why am I giving you this backstory? Marrying the art and science of business development with our core values helps us create a cohesive and authentic approach that builds trust and loyalty among our stakeholders. For 14-plus years, we have waxed stronger because our business practices are not only effective but also meaningful and sustainable in the long term. Here's what you can take away from this for your brand or business: Applying the art and science of these values means: - Crafting a vision and mission statement that reflects your core values and guides your business practices. - Designing your brand to visually and conceptually represent these values. - Creating marketing and communication strategies that resonate with your values and connect authentically with your audience. It also involves: - Implementing policies and procedures that ensure ethical behavior and decision-making. - Using data to track and improve the environmental and social impact of your business. - Regularly reviewing and adjusting your strategies to stay aligned with your values, using feedback and analytics. It is a new week to integrate your values into every aspect of your business, so you can foster trust and loyalty among your stakeholders, and ensure long-term success and sustainability. This path isn't always the easiest, but it's the most rewarding. Staying true to your values will help your business flourish in ways you never imagined. #PurposeDriven #CEO #Marketing #Impact #SuccessStrategy #BrandBuilding #Partnerships #ThePathRedefined

Successful South Korean brands like K-beauty giants Innisfree and Laneige didn't conquer the global market with trendy products alone. Brand-level messaging isn't just about what you say - it's about the emotional response you create. Get this right, and the rest of your messaging has a strong foundation. Get this wrong - the stories you tell - from product to sales, feel misguided. That's why PMMs need to collaborate with with brand teams to create powerful brand messaging. 1. Start with conviction What unique perspective do you hold? What do you see that others don't? 2. Make a promise How will you actually deliver on that conviction? This needs to be tangible, not just aspirational. 3. Tell the transformation story Paint the picture of 'before' (the problem) and 'after' (the world you help create) 4. Back it with proof Real examples, not buzzwords. Show, don't just tell. 5. Tie it together [Category] deserves [belief] because [conviction] The magic happens when you tell one cohesive story that resonates emotionally with your audience. What I love about this framework is its simplicity. It forces you to get clear on what you actually stand for, not just what sounds good. Use this next time you want to get foundational with your messaging.

Your brand has a beautiful story. But is your blog telling it? I am working with the founder of a slow-living Ayurvedic skincare brand. He has the most powerful story, rooted in ritual, healing, and legacy. But for his blog? He was planning generic “10 tips” content that could’ve belonged to anyone. So I planned something different. I am turning his brand story into a full-fledged blog strategy. Last year, when I did this for a hairstylist blog, it resulted in: 💡 2x more returning readers 💡 Blogs that were shared (and bookmarked!) 💡 Emails from customers saying: “It finally feels like you” Here’s how I am doing it and how you can too: 1. Start with your “why” What personal moment sparked your brand’s creation? That story deserves its own post. (It’s your foundation.) 2. Break your origin story into blog themes Founder struggles = mindset content Product journey = behind-the-scenes series Values = opinion pieces and purpose-led posts 3. Identify shared values between your brand and your customers Do they care about slowness? Clean living? Energy healing? Now, map blog content around those emotional anchors. 4. Weave emotion into educational content Turn “How to use face oil” into: “How a nighttime ritual helped me find calm after burnout” Readers remember stories. Google rewards depth. 5. Build blog categories that echo your brand pillars For my hair styling client, we created content around: ✨ Rituals ✨ Ingredients ✨ Customer's hair styling stories ✨ Founder stories ✨ Product education Suddenly, her blog didn’t just inform. It felt like her brand. You don’t need 100 ideas. You need one good story, told in 100 different ways. Want my help turning your story into a blog strategy that builds traffic, trust, and connection? Don’t get me wrong—I’m all for experimenting with content formats, styles, and narratives. It’s essential to explore new avenues, especially on platforms like LinkedIn, where fresh perspectives can make a big impact. But here’s the thing: no matter how innovative or tempting a new approach may seem, it must stay aligned with your persona, purpose, and audience. Let me share a recent experience. While working with a client, they suggested switching to a content style recommended by various “experts” because their posts hadn’t been getting much traction. I respected their willingness to try something new and went along with the experiment. But deep down, I knew this approach wasn’t aligned with their natural voice, their authentic style of communication, or the core message they wanted to convey. We gave it a shot. And as I anticipated, it backfired. The new narration style felt off-brand, confused their loyal audience, and didn’t yield the desired results. In our meeting today, I brought up the importance of course-correcting and returning to a content style that resonates with who they are and how they naturally connect with their audience. The lesson here? Experimentation is valuable, but authenticity is non-negotiable. Before adopting a trendy style or approach, ask yourself: -Does this sound like me? -Is this how I’d naturally share my experiences? -Will this connect with the audience that trusts and follows me? Chasing likes and comments with a style that’s not authentically yours might give you a momentary boost, but it risks alienating the very people who genuinely resonate with you. So, experiment—but stay true to yourself. That’s the key to building meaningful and lasting connections. Are you with me on this? #contentcreation #personalbranding #thoughtleadership #storytelling

No one is better at being you than you. So many of my clients struggle to write content because they focus too much on trying to sound like anything but themselves. They think they need to write content that is: → Super intelligent sounding → Filled with professional or corporate language → Sharing some sort of ground breaking idea Which only ends up with them: → Overthinking and overwhelmed → Creating convoluted confusing content → Procrastinating until they give up entirely With the right knowledge and tools, writing content gets to be a lot less stressful. You just need to write more like you. Because the content that does well has these elements: → Stories from real life experiences → Shared tips that worked for YOU → Sounds like you speak in your words People can smell content that feels contrived and forced a mile off, it repels. Authentic content that comes from the heart, is the content that starts real conversations and leads to real clients. The ones you actually want to work with. If you've been struggling to write content, here's a simple structure I use and with my clients that WORKS: → Think about a recent experience you can share → Break down what happened and what you learned → Outline the key takeaways and include a personal tip → End with a question asking others about similar experiences I've seen this approach transform how my clients create content. They've gone from feeling stuck and overwhelmed to consistently sharing valuable posts that resonate with their audience. So don’t be afraid to sound like and be more like you in your content. Because no one else can be you and your stories matter. What recent experience could you share in your next post?

You’ve spent hours crafting the perfect campaign. The design is flawless, the message is clear, and everything feels on point. But the results? Meh. The numbers barely budge. Every marketer’s fear is creating something that gets noticed but doesn’t connect. Because attention alone isn’t enough—it’s emotional resonance that drives action and builds loyalty. 🌱 Here’s how to create content that resonates: → Understand your audience’s why Go beyond demographics—tap into psychographics by learning what drives your customers. What problems keep them awake at night? What aspirations push them forward? → Focus on stories, not facts People are wired to connect with stories. Stories humanize your brand and turn abstract concepts into relatable experiences. Rather than listing product features, share a story of how your product solved a customer’s real problem or made a difference in their life. → Speak their language Choose language that aligns with your audience’s emotions and experiences. Whether it’s light-hearted humor or a sense of hope, using intentional language helps your content resonate with readers on a deeper level. → Be authentic in sharing your journey, objections, and goals Your audience can sense what’s real. Share your challenges, goals, and even vulnerabilities to build trust and reliability. → Invite meaningful dialogue and understand what defines their ideas Encourage your audience to interact with your content—ask questions, invite opinions, or run interactive campaigns. When people feel involved, they develop a sense of connection with your brand, making your message more impactful. It’s not about grabbing attention—it’s about making it matter.

If someone landed on your LinkedIn profile or company page and scrolled through your posts, would they know what you or your company stand for? Your values are far more than just a page on your website. They’re the heartbeat of your business. ❤️ And they should be threaded through everything you share. Why? Because when you communicate your values consistently, you: 🔶 Stand out online – When the market’s crowded, your beliefs set you apart. 🔶 Grow with intention – You’ll make decisions based on purpose, not pressure. 🔶 Build trust – People buy from brands they feel aligned with. Values create connection. 🔶 Stay consistent – Clear values make it easier to create content that actually sounds like you. 🔶 Attract the right people – Whether it’s clients, collaborators or your next hire, values act like a magnet. Here’s how to show your values in action: ✔ Celebrate causes or clients that align with your mission ✔ Share real stories that reflect what matters to you ✔ Use your tone of voice to bring your values to life ✔ Be clear about what you’re not about ✔ Lead with honesty, always Your people want to see what you stand for. So don’t just tell them, show them. Over to you, how clear are you on your values? And do they show up in your content? Let me know, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments. 👇

A true brand story starts where your values and your customer’s feelings collide. That’s where the magic happens. Not in clever slogans. Not in shiny logos. The brands we remember? They go deeper. Think Apple’s “1984.” Dove’s “Real Beauty.” Nike’s “Just Do It.” These weren’t just ads. They were cultural moments. Because they hit a nerve. They showed us who we could be. Here’s what I see work: - First, look inward. Define your mission, vision, and values. Find your “core emotional truth.” (The sweet spot between how your clients feel and what you stand for.) - Next, break the pattern. Spot what everyone else is saying, then disrupt it-authentically. Surprise matters, but only if it feels true to you. - Then, build the emotional arc. Start with your audience’s real problem. Raise the stakes. Guide them to a solution-where you’re the mentor, not the hero. Our brains crave novelty. But our hearts crave meaning. When you create that “whoa, this is ME” feeling? You build loyalty that lasts.
