Hermin Hart

Hermin Hart is non-player character in Final Fantasy XIV. She is a member of Lemures.

History[]

After Drusilla has trained the Warrior of Light as a Reaper to help her kill voidsent Orcus. Arnegis and Hermin, who were gathering clues about Orcus, spoke of a missing woodcutter in the Central Shroud, and a man with pale skin and burning eyes seen nearby that matches the description of Orcus. Hermin expresses concerns about her Warrior of Light involvement in the group's secret business, leading Drusilla to reveal her personal history with Orcus, who has murdered every member of her family. Perfectly aware of the threat Orcus poses, Drusilla says she is willing to rely on any and all advantages, including the help of an outsider. However, the clues led to only one of Orcus' minions.^[1]

Arnegis continued his investigations but was eventually murdered by Orcus. His body was found in Thanalan by the Brass Blades. When the news reaches the Lemures, Hermin went mad for revenge. Eventually Orcus shows up and captures Drusilla as a lure to attract the Warrior of Light. Hermin mobilizes the Lemurs to try to find out where Orcus was hiding. A short time later, Orcus sends a letter written in blood, stating that he was waiting at the Dusk Vigil. In response, Hermin summons all family members fit to fight. Sensing that this group, however loyal, would be summarily dispatched by the voidsent, the Warrior of Light convinces them to stay behind. Hermin reluctantly agrees, but asks him to take Drusilla's scythe, for a reaper is nothing without their weapon, and she will surely need it. Hermin and the other Lemurs welcome Drusilla when the Warrior of Light returns with her. Hermin supports Drusilla's decision that the Lemurs should start welcoming anyone who needs help.^[2]
