Is there a way to switch off voice input for Whatsapp on iPhone? I have switched off Siri but Whatsapp still allows voice input. A friend has created voice chats accidentally because she presses the microphone accidentally.

You can disable the dictation available on the keyboard for all apps in Settings -> General -> Keyboards -> Enable Dictation.
There is no option to define this per app.
PS: If WhatsApp allows to record voice messages within the app, this won‘t help of course.
Apps must request permission to use the microphone. When they do, they're added to a list in Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone. You can toggle access on or off in that screen.
