Suppose someone posts a question with the tag . A second user visits the tag wiki and clicks the Watch tag button. Later, a third user removes the tag from the only question that had it, considering the tag unnecessary. As a result, we now have a tag with no questions, but with a user who is following it. Will this tag be automatically deleted?

Now, suppose the tag also has a full tag wiki, but it gets automatically removed because it no longer has any questions. If a new question with this tag appears in the future, will its tag wiki be restored?

It will not be saved from deletion by some users watching it. I have discovered that some of my watched tags no longer exist. I asked about it: When a tag is removed, why isn't it removed from watchlists?

The following experiment was conducted:

In summary, the experiment showed that having users watch a tag does not prevent it from being automatically deleted. After the tag is restored, its usage guidance and description are missing. However, the previous description can still be accessed - short, full - if you have a direct link to the tag's revision history.
