Thank you, Tracy Brower, PhD. Our teams at One Workplace, two*, and MadeByPair, along with our clients and design partners, are grateful for time spent with you. We left every conversation informed, inspired, and a little more connected than when we arrived. A few ideas we're still talking about: + Loneliness is a workplace issue, not just a personal one + Belonging is built through everyday moments, not grand gestures + Work can be one of the best places to find our people Thank you, Tracy, for your generosity, your wisdom, and your hope. And thanks to Steelcase for partnering with us to make this happen. If you haven't read Critical Connections yet, add it to your list. About us
We create spaces that inspire and transform. One Workplace doesn’t just create spaces, we put them to work. We don’t measure them in square feet, but by the possibilities they create for our clients. From a better way to express your culture, to a better way to work, to learn or to heal – the possibilities are endless. Better space always solves a problem. Our solution is simple. We believe together is better. Combining business strategists, designers, furniture, construction, ancillary and audiovisual specialists with project managers, customer support, delivery and installation under one roof simplifies a complicated process - and it makes the workplace better. It’s a unique process, and it’s made us one of the most successful interior solutions companies in the US. Each project starts with collaboration and ends with trust. For us, this is a big deal. Better spaces are built with better relationships - our most valuable assets. That means finding an amazing way to work together with our clients and partners because when we co-create, remarkable things happen. Everything we do links back to one simple philosophy: We’re better together.

Lunch at noon. Robotics competition at 4. Board meeting at 7. Emergency shelter if the storm hits. Same room. The multipurpose room used to be leftover square footage. Today it's one of the hardest-working spaces in any K-12 building, and one of the smartest uses of bond dollars a district can make. But calling a room "multipurpose" doesn't make it work. The ones that succeed share a few things: +Walls, seating, and furniture that actually move +Acoustics that let a pep band and a testing session coexist +Power, data, and AV everywhere, so the room has no fixed "front" +A design team that maps the room's full week, not just its ribbon-cutting Our Learning Environments team spends every day helping districts get this right. New on the blog: why flexible space is the backbone of modern K-12 design. Link here: https://lnkd.in/gUn2HRwp #K12Design #LearningEnvironments #EducationDesign #FlexibleSpaces #SchoolDesign
