Im looking forward to gaining hands on experience in engineering and maintenance while contributing to projects that support operational excellence across the plant such as updating preventative maintenance (PM) programs in LIMBLE, creating new PMs for the Everest equipment in LIMBLE, reviewing and updating P&IDs manuals for the Fairless Hills facility, and supporting continuous improvement and maintenance documentation across engineering operations among other interesting areas of the company. Im grateful for the opportunity to learn from such an experienced team and excited to develop both my practical and technical engineering skills throughout the internship. Terrific work by an awesome TEAm.Andy Moschea liked thisWe announced today the opening of our new 150,000-square-foot refrigerated distribution center off of Lakeshore Parkway in Birmingham, Alabama, bringing 50 quality jobs to the area. Since 2020, Milo's has more than tripled our production capacity to meet surging consumer demand for the real ingredients, homemade taste, and authenticity that have defined our delicious beverages since 1946. How did we do it? In 2020, we opened our Tulsa, Oklahoma facility, a $150 million greenfield manufacturing and distribution facility. Then we followed it up with a $200 million greenfield facility in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. And, we expanded our original Bessemer, Alabama facility from 30k to more than 200k square feet. Together, these nearly $400 million investments in domestic manufacturing infrastructure since 2019 have added more than 500 new associates and modernized our operations. At Milo's, growth is measured in careers created, families supported, and communities strengthened, not just in cases sold. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working alongside exceptional teammates, leaders, customers and partners across multiple organizations. Together, we built strong teams navigated change, delivered results, and fostered relationships grounded in trust, collaboration, and shared purpose. Any success along the way was never an individual effort. It was the result of collective commitment, thoughtful leadership, and deep belief in the power of teamwork. I’m grateful for the opportunities to lead and learn, and for partnerships and friendships that made this journey rewarding and fly by so fast. As I step into retirement, I do so with pride in what we accomplished together and confidence in the leaders and teams carrying that work forward. While I’m retiring from full-time leadership, I look forward to staying connected and supporting others through mentoring and advisory work in the next chapter. I’ve had the chance to work with WDPA and its members over the years, and it’s a bit wild, in the best way, to now have the opportunity to help lead the organization. The people who make up Wisconsin’s dairy industry do remarkable things every day, and I’m genuinely honored to support them and help elevate the stories behind that work. At the same time, I’m pleased to continue contributing content to the Ever.Ag Insights team, including hosting The Dairy Download (in partnership with IDFA), and publishing my Monday Morning Demand Notes column.
