Ellie Mirman shared thisIncredible opportunity to join a fast growing company making an impact on our local communities!Ellie Mirman shared thisVori is at an inflection point and we’re hiring builders across disciplines who can pierce the asymptote of impossible to achieve their ambitions. We’ll cross $1B in annualized payments this year after launching in 2024. If you’ve ever wondered what it was like to build early at Square, Shopify, or Toast: now’s your chance. Vori empowers independent grocers to compete with Walmart with an AI-powered Retail OS. Our all-in-one POS boosts profits by streamlining how stores buy, manage, and sell inventory—replacing clipboards, paper, and fax machines. We’re on a mission to terraform the $1T grocery industry, uprooting billions of $$ in legacy systems & updating the core software of the food supply chain at scale. The planet faces several super wicked problems. Yet too many top minds are stuck in roles that don’t matter. At Vori, you’ll address food waste, food insecurity, and small business decline head on—alongside elite technologists and grocers from SpaceX, Stripe, Square, Instacart, Toast, Amazon, Albertsons, and more. Explore open roles at www.vori.com/careers. Top priorities include: - Head of Sales (US): engineer growth so steep it feels irresponsible - Director of Sales (East Coast): capture Vori’s beachhead in the Eastern theater - Backend Software Engineer: move fast, with stable infra - Product Marketing Lead: turn complexity into poetry Vori is a diverse crew of compassionate killers who reflect the communities we serve. We believe vibranium sharpens vibranium—and in the words of one beloved customer: don’t ever f*ck with the dairy order. If you’ve got the sauce, don’t just watch us cook. Join us in the kitchen. Apply online, or cut to the front by also sending careers@vori.com: - 1 story where you overrode physics to achieve a critical goal - 1 idea to unlock more growth for Vori - 1 unfair way you use AI to supercharge your workflows

Ellie Mirman liked thisEllie Mirman liked thisNo burying the lede on a Monday morning. I'm excited to share that I'm taking on a new role at Rally: COO. I've always hated the question, "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" because I've simply never had a good answer to it. And I always worried, did not having an answer mean that I wasn't ambitious? Focused? Successful? I never felt like I could answer that question the "right" way, while also being truthful, because how could I know what I would learn in the next 5 years. How could I know what opportunities might open up for me? If you had asked me that question at 25 while I was working in finance, I never would have said, "I see myself in software sales." Or at 27, "I see myself as a UX researcher." Or at 29, "I see myself as marketer." The pivots that my career took at times felt like mistakes, that I was being indecisive, that I was starting over each time. But I was always curious and eager for new learning and growth opportunities, and so I chased them, joining different teams and different companies along the way. I had a front-row seat to how different teams operate, their needs, their challenges, their drivers. Over the course of my career, I learned how to read financial statements, how to get on the phone and sell, how to create products that customers use, how to take a new product to market. And most importantly, I learned how to develop and manage the operating rhythm for teams to be effective, which is what I loved the most. So at 46, I'm excited to share that I'm taking on a new role as COO. This role feels like the culmination of these different learned experiences and the opportunity to have an impact at an even larger scale. This might have actually been the role I was dreaming about 5 years ago, but I probably would have been too afraid to say it out loud. I'm especially excited to take on this role at Rally, a company I love with an amazing team, product and customers. And I couldn't be more excited for what the next 5 years might bring.

Almost five years in, and every version of this role (and of my professional self) has been shaped by the people around it. The ones who pushed me. People who made me laugh when I didn't feel like laughing. And many who aren't here anymore but still show up in how I think and work. Thank you to my colleagues, friends, and mentors, both past and present. You know who you are. The work continues.

You can do motion graphics, build apps, solve real problems, help people with strategy.” PMM: “Great. I’ll start repositioning AI as your strategic partner and always-on worker. Something that transforms a company from slow and cumbersome to fast and agile.” CPO: “Great. One more thing. It also might kill all of humanity.” PMM: “Sorry, wha—” CPO: “Yeah, it’s incredible at writing. Can teach your kids amazing knowledge.” PMM: “Yeah. Sorry. The killing thing?” CPO: “It can automate tasks, help doctors cure diseases, help scientists solve problems never before possible.” PMM: “Right. Yep. Amazing. Sorry, I just thought I heard ‘kill all of humanity.’” CPO: “Yes. Exactly. It can do all those things. And it might kill everyone.” PMM: “Everyone?” CPO: “Potentially, yes.” PMM: “Right.” CPO: “Anyway. Great chat. Can we have the website updated tomorrow? And get it into the sales enablement decks.” PMM: “What do I put under ‘Why now?’” CPO: “Probably the productivity stuff.”

Ellie Mirman reacted on thisAfter 5 years at DoorDash, and 10 years of being brand side, I'm heading to agency life with the best in the biz. I'll be honest, it wasn't an easy road to get here. I burnt out with a toddler at home. My brain said I was bad at being a mom and bad at being a coworker, a boss, even a thinker with AI taking over workflows, and I didn't challenge those negative thought patterns. I needed a wakeup call, and a layoff of my entire team was it. I took 3 months to redesign my life. I left my home office, a room I felt chained to as my emergence would send my toddler wailing, and went to the library, sat at local cafes, took Charlie to the zoo, worked out at the YMCA, sat in a therapy office, got bloodwork done, and spent more time with family. I wrote down what I needed in my next role, hoping the right thing would come along as I'm the sole financial provider for the family. But all in all, I was happier outside the four walls of my office. I've worked with Gabriela Pinto at Toast (my desk buddy!) and Katherine Boyarsky as a vendor at DoorDash. I remembered the feeling I had working with them at Jack's Abbey in Framingham in 2024. They were human, and reminded me what made marketing fun. They worked anywhere, no mandate to be home or in office. When a role on their team opened up, to both write for their clients and build marketing strategy for their agency and the product they're building Flowerplot, I knew it would be a good fit. This is your reminder that it's OK to take a break and work on yourself. It's OK to take time to process what becoming a mom might do to your ambition, your personality. It's OK to jump off the leadership track you've built for yourself and instead try new things (and old things) that bring you joy. I'm so excited for the next chapter and grateful for all the mentors who've guided me over the years. Onwards and upwards!Ellie Mirman reacted on thisBig announcement for the Datalily team... We're excited to welcome Allison Van Duyne as our new Senior Content Marketing Manager! We've known Allie since she worked with Gabriela Pinto at Toast back in 2018. Now, it's a full circle moment to have her join us to help us grow both Datalily and Flowerplot. There's a lot of cool stuff coming so stay tuned! 👀

Ellie Mirman liked thisEllie Mirman liked thisI don't post often, and rarely anything personal. But as Pride month comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on how fortunate I am that my gay identity has never been an issue in my professional life. I still sometimes have a moment of pause before I say "my wife," but I make a point to show up as my full self at work. I recognize that as a white woman in leadership, I have privilege. By being visible and open, I hope there's a chance someone hears me talking about my weekend, or sees a photo of my wife and kids in any of the fun Slack channels, and feels a little more comfortable, a little more seen. That's why I'm sharing this today. Happy Pride 🏳️🌈

Hey B2B SaaS founders: Your martech stack isn’t a growth engine and it’s probably slowing ARR. Most companies didn’t design their martech system from the ground up. They accumulated one quarter by quarter while chasing pipeline. One tool for demand gen. One for RevOps. One for product-led motions. One for experiments. One for AI “helpers.” Each on individually rational. But collectively… a hypertail no one owns and few fully understand. McKinsey & Company’s real message in its new article "Rewiring martech from cost center to growth engine" isn’t about buying better tools. It’s that Martech only drives growth when it’s run like core revenue infrastructure and not marketing plumbing. So here's what actually works: ✔ Simplify and integrate before you scale ✔ Assign real executive ownership (not “marketing owns the tools”) ✔ Measure martech by revenue impact, not activity metrics ✔ Close capability gaps because tools without operators don’t compound ✔ Treat AI as an accelerator of a designed system, not a magic layer Your growth problem is rarely “we need better tools.” It’s “we never designed the system those tools are supposed to power.” The winners won’t have the biggest stacks. They’ll have the clearest operating models and the discipline to keep martech accountable to revenue. So do you actually have a martech engine… or just a very expensive pile of parts? https://lnkd.in/ehAUrnxB #B2BSaaS #SaaSFounders #MarTech #GTM #ARRGrowth #AIinMarketing #MarketingOps #RevOps

Canada 🇨🇦 I’m heading your way In June, I’ll be at DSA Canada Connect 2026 and I want to talk about something I’m seeing across almost every Direct Selling company right now: the massive AI acceleration gap opening up. On one side: companies moving fast, solving real problems, building capability. On the other: companies stuck in planning mode, waiting for the “right” strategy. The difference isn’t technology. It’s action. In my session, I’m going to run you through something we’ve done with many of the 20+ direct selling companies we work with, something that accelerated their progress significantly. You’ll learn: → Where you are right now (honestly) → Where your immediate opportunities are → How to lead this, regardless of your title or technical background → Real examples of what’s working and what’s not And we’ll tackle both sides of this transformation: the incredible capability AI unlocks AND the very real risk it poses to human connection at the absolute heart of direct selling. It’s my first time in Canada (getting in a week early to explore), and I can’t wait to help you get on the right side of the acceleration gap. Thanks to Peter Maddox for inviting me and Ben Robinson for recommending me. If you’re there, see you in June!

Moving from a single product to a platform is one of the toughest shifts a GTM team can make. Next week, I'll be speaking at the Product Marketing Summit - Seattle, hosted by the Product Marketing Alliance, on navigating that shift. We'll explore how pricing and packaging decisions reshape the entire GTM strategy, and how to drive scalable growth without disrupting existing pipeline. Looking forward to some great conversations! 🏙️

I’ve been interviewing for GTM and marketing roles over the last few weeks, and the gap is hard to miss. For people with a decade or more of experience, many profiles have barely evolved. I still hear the same talk around positioning, strategy, and messaging, like it's 2014, but I see very little evidence of ongoing learning or real hands-on use of AI to build, test, and scale GTM systems. Most candidates assume execution sits with someone else, whether that is marketing ops, paid, SEO, or rev ops, while they focus on coordination. That model does not hold up anymore. The current toolset allows a single operator to design and run far more of the system end to end. If you have not leaned into that, experience alone does not close the gap. If you are serious about applying AI to GTM and want real ownership at a fast growing deeptech startup (www.legacyleap.ai) in our portfolio, DM me. Will be #Bangalore based. #hiring #gtm
