Giovanni Triana shared thisQuick life update: I asked the love of my life if she wanted to spend the rest of her life with me... and she said YES! I’m incredibly grateful for all of the beautiful memories Giselle and I have shared over the last two years -- and for the opportunity to ask her to marry me in one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in the world: Matera, Italy 🇮🇹 I don’t post much about my personal life on LinkedIn, but this woman has been an incredibly important, though not always public, part of the journey that has shaped the man I am today. Through thick and thin, I’ve learned so much about myself, about her, and about life. She has challenged me to grow and supported me through some of the most difficult moments of my life. Like most meaningful things, building a life together hasn’t been easy. There has been business, family, friendships, loss, unexpected circumstances, expectations, relationship strains, competing priorities, and plenty of frustration when life didn’t seem to be moving according to my desired timeline. And yet, through it all, we’ve grown stronger, closer, and more resilient. As I approach this next chapter of my life, I find myself learning more about what it means to truly sacrifice -- to love someone more than myself, and to trust that God is faithful to the dream He has placed in my heart. And somewhere along the way, I’m also learning not to forget to stop and smell the roses. Balancing love, ambition, family, and business has a steep learning curve. But building a meaningful life alongside the person you love is a virtue worthy of everything it asks of you. Il dolce far niente, Giovanni 09.10.26 🇮🇹

Giovanni Triana reposted thisGiovanni Triana reposted thisEvery successful product begins with an innovative idea, but it’s the expertise behind the idea that truly brings it to life. Our collaboration with MXXY demonstrates what’s possible when design, engineering and manufacturing come together alongside a shared commitment to solving complex challenges. MXXY set out to rethink hydration packs by creating a product that gives users greater control over how they carry and access water. Together, we transformed an ambitious concept into a versatile, modular hydration system featuring stackable reservoirs and precision dial disengagement. Our team’s on-the-ground presence in China enabled real-time collaboration during manufacturing and streamlined design refinements, helping bring this innovative product from prototype to market. It’s a great example of how we at Stephen Gould help our customers navigate the journey from concept to product launch through integrated global capabilities and end-to-end collaboration.

Giovanni Triana reposted thisGiovanni Triana reposted thisEvery supply chain leader is talking about tariffs. And understandably so. They're forcing important decisions, but they shouldn't dictate long-term strategy. We recently worked with a leading fitness brand facing rising tariff exposure on a China-based manufacturing program. Rather than treating it as a sourcing problem, we looked at the entire system. Our team redesigned the packaging, developed a new paper foam solution, and shifted production to Malaysia and Mexico – reducing tariff exposure while maintaining the sustainability goals that mattered to the client. It wasn't about replacing one supplier with another. It was about creating a more agile supply chain built around their priorities. That's where I believe supply chain partners like Stephen Gould create the most value. The goal isn't to have a backup plan – it’s to have options. When you build agility into the supply chain from the start, you're better positioned for whatever comes next.

When the right creator opens a product for thousands – or millions – of people, the packaging becomes more than packaging. It’s a driver of real commercial impact. Our recent work supporting the HEYDUDE x Margaritaville sneaker launch is a great example. The launch box was designed to make the collaboration feel like an experience – something memorable, shareable and capable of extending the impact of the launch beyond the product itself. As brands invest significant dollars in creators, collaborations and cultural moments, we’re seeing more attention paid to these physical touchpoints. A memorable unboxing gives creators more to share, audiences more to engage with and the product another opportunity to stand out. That’s where Stephen Gould can make a real difference for our clients. We bring those pieces together to help brands turn packaging into a driver of business impact.

Giovanni Triana reacted on thisGiovanni Triana reacted on thisAt 22 years old, Justin Golden got kicked out of a Manhattan office building by three security guards. He'd been riding the elevator floor to floor, dropping off business cards, trying to drum up his first pieces of business. The elevator locked him in and sent him straight to the lobby where security was waiting. Most people would've called it a day. Justin went across the street, found a bar, handed the bartender his credit card, and told him to cover the first 20 or 30 people who walked in after work and to tell them the guy at that table was buying. That's how you build a network in New York City before LinkedIn existed. Today, Justin is CEO of Stephen Gould, the 87-year-old, third-generation family business his grandfather started as a storefront on Manhattan's Lower East Side in 1939 reselling boxes, paper bags and twine. Justin now leads a company spanning 40+ locations across six countries, partnering with some of the biggest names in consumer products, tech and retail, and one that's grown from $500 million to $1 billion in revenue over the last decade and a half. But what makes Justin extraordinary isn't just the scale of what he's built. It's how deliberately he's navigated becoming the third generation to lead it. In this episode, you'll learn: - How a 7th-grade summer job filing invoices turned into two decades of earning his seat - Why overcommunicating might be the most underrated leadership skill - Why Justin and his father had to work through real tension once they were both leading the company at the same time - What it actually takes to keep an entrepreneurial culture alive across 200+ independent sales agents - How Justin is already thinking about the fourth generation — and the legacy he wants to leave This isn't a story about packaging. It's a story about what it takes to inherit a legacy without being trapped by it. 🎧 Give this powerful conversation a listen: https://lnkd.in/dPr6dK3z #RealLeadershipPod #Leadership #FamilyBusiness #SupplyChain #Manufacturing #GenerationalLeadership #Packaging #CEO #ThirdGeneration

This decision comes with mixed emotions. Serving ALEC has been one of the greatest honors of my career. Together, we have strengthened and expanded an organization that remains firmly committed to the timeless principles of limited government, free markets, and federalism. During my tenure at ALEC, I have had the privilege of working alongside dedicated legislators, policy experts, private sector leaders, donors, and an exceptionally talented staff who believe deeply in our mission and work tirelessly to advance it. Thank you for the opportunity to serve. It has truly been the honor of a lifetime. You can read my full letter here: https://lnkd.in/e6Cu7QaK
