Really excited to be sharing this opportunity with my Sydney network. Alignment is my theme for 2026 and this workshop sits right at the centre of that. I'm thrilled to be partnering with two amazing ladies, Cathy Dimarchos and Marcela Acosta who both bring a unique and powerful perspective to the table around conscious decision-making and the collective impact and wisdom of conscious collaboration (among other things). I'm focussing on boundaries in my session because a lack of boundaries is typically one of the obvious symptoms of mis-alignment in someone's life. All too often, I find myself coaching women who are either in severe burnout or on the verge of it and when I dig deeper, I find a common theme of people pleasing and filling everyone else's bucket before their own. When you are really clear on holding boundaries, you protect not only your own energy but how you show up for others. Stop Chasing Trends, Start Building Trust: The Podcasting Engine for Coaches🎙️🚀 I recently attended an insightful session with Misbah Haque, a seasoned podcaster and founder, has used the medium to transform his coaching career. The message was clear: in an era of 60-second clips and "flashy" content, the deepest business transformations happen through long-form connection. 💡 The Core Idea: ↳ Podcasting is more than a hobby; it’s a trust-building machine. While social media captures attention, podcasting builds deep authority. ↳ Research shows that 78% of buyers consume at least two pieces of long-form content before making a purchase. ↳ Podcasting allows you to "own your means of production" and establish a direct line to your ideal clients. 🔑 The Podcaster’s Blueprint: Moving Beyond Vanity Metrics Misbah outlined a strategic approach to using podcasting to differentiate your coaching practice and convert strangers into "bought-in" clients. 1. Trust is the New Currency ↳ Attention is easy to get, but trust is hard to build. Podcasting serves the Middle of the Funnel, where a listener spending 30–60 minutes with you creates a connection that is impossible on other platforms. ↳ Leverage Google's 7-11-4 Rule: It typically takes 7 hours of content, 11 touchpoints, and 4 different locations for a cold prospect to buy. 2. The Passcode Theory (Finding Your Unique Angle) ↳ Don't just be a "nutrition coach" or "business coach"—that's a 4-digit passcode with only 10,000 combinations. ↳ Add your unique interests (e.g., Nutrition + Parenting + Golf) to create a 6-digit passcode, opening up 1 million possible combinations and making you "uncopyable". ↳ Lean into your Archetype: Are you a Researcher (sharing what you learn), an Expert (teaching your craft), or a Translator (simplifying complex ideas)?. 3. Content with Purpose: Reach vs. Resonate ↳ Distinguish between Reach episodes (designed to bring new people in) and Resonate episodes (designed to convert listeners into clients). ↳ Focus on Evergreen Assets: Design episodes like products that solve specific client objections, so they continue working for you years later. 4. Start Where You Are (Guesting First) ↳ If launching a show feels heavy, start with a Guesting Strategy. ↳ Being a guest allows you to borrow another show's authority and reach, requiring nothing more than a laptop and a basic microphone. ⭐ Powerful Insight from Misbah: "Podcasting is really about if you can stay in the game. Every step of the process is a drop-off point for your competitors. My latest podcast introduces a new spectrum in the BE/DO Concept: Big Picture Thinking vs. Detailed Thinking. This distinction helps explain why people can care deeply, talk about the same issue, and genuinely try to fix a problem — yet still feel misunderstood or at odds. Often, the issue isn’t intent or effort. It’s perception. People don’t all take in and process information the same way, which means they may truly not see what the other person sees. Once this difference becomes visible, learning to see and validate the opposite perspective can dramatically shift how relationships function — at home, at work, and everywhere in between. #BigPictureThinking #Communication #BEDOConcept

Returning to work, after injury or caring for others shouldn't come with hoops you need to jump through. You also shouldn't have to explain gaps in work. The The GCC Menopause Hub is carrying out a return to work survey for those women who have had time off to raise children, care for sick relatives or has had a gap in their work.
