Rachel Meranus shared thisCome join the Stensul team and be a part of the next chapter of Governed Creation: helping enterprise marketers ship on-brand, compliant, and production-ready assets in a world increasingly driven by AI and agents!Rachel Meranus shared thisWe’re hiring for enterprise AE and AM roles at Stensul. AI has created a new problem for marketing leaders: turning AI output into work that actually reaches customers. I joined Stensul in May because this is becoming one of the defining challenges for enterprise marketing. CMOs approved the AI spend. They bought tools and tokens. Now they need to answer a harder question: How do we turn all of this activity into business impact — without losing control? That’s where many teams are stuck. More experiments, more drafts, more activity…but not enough market-ready work going live. Stensul helps enterprise marketing teams ship with AI, without losing control. We serve leading banks, healthcare firms, and pharma companies, as well as iconic brands like BlackRock, Cisco, Equifax, Siemens, and Thomson Reuters. After we opened access to the Stensul MCP Server earlier this month, we saw a surge of interest in connecting AI tools and agents directly into our Governed Creation platform. AI expands what people, tools, and agents can create. Stensul governs what’s ready to ship. We’re hiring for exceptional AE and AM talent who want to shape how the world’s leading marketing teams work in the AI era. Links are in the comments.

Rachel Meranus shared thisOn my way to Chicago for Salesforce Connections and can’t wait to talk about Stensul’s exciting news! Stop by Booth 411 to learn more about how Stensul is plotting the future of Governed Creation™, meeting marketers where they work and making AI-generated content not only fast to create, but safe to ship.Rachel Meranus shared thisToday, the Stensul MCP Server Early Access Program is open. Enterprise marketing teams are investing heavily in AI. But AI only creates value when the work can actually go live. That is the hard part: turning AI-assisted creation into marketing that is on-brand, compliant, approved, and ready to ship. Stensul MCP gives customers a way to connect supported AI tools and agents into Stensul’s governed creation layer, starting with email. That means AI-assisted work can move through the templates, modules, brand rules, compliance logic, accessibility checks, and approval workflows enterprise teams need before anything reaches the customer. The goal is simple: help teams use AI to create more campaigns while keeping control over what goes live. AI expands creation. Stensul governs what can ship. “Stensul’s MCP Server points to where enterprise martech is headed: AI agents operating not outside the system of control, but inside it.” - Scott Brinker, Analyst at chiefmartec Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eA2NtvJH

Rachel Meranus shared thisI’m headed to Salesforce Connections next week, and I'm bringing a story I'm genuinely excited to put on stage. Adventist Health rebuilt their entire creation model with governance at the foundation. Most leaders would expect that to slow them down. At Adventist Health, speed went up, volume went up, and the model is now scaling beyond Marketing into Government Relations, Internal Communications, Mission, and Payer Relations. I'm sharing that story with Brittany Purcell from the Adventist Health team on June 3rd at 1pm in Theater One. Healthcare, financial services, insurance, life sciences. If you sit in a regulated seat, this session is for you. Learn more about what the Stensul team has planned at CNX 2026: https://lnkd.in/eNzAGpT5

Rachel Meranus shared thisThe real cost of AI isn’t the tokens, it’s the risk, particularly for regulated companies. Read more in our recent blog post below.Rachel Meranus shared thisRegulated marketing teams have always paid for compliance failures. Adding AI into workflows just means there's more chances for failures to occur. The FDA issued 200+ enforcement letters in 2025. The SEC is asking not just what you sent, but where it was made and who approved it. CAN-SPAM penalties run $53,000 per email, per violation. The cost of ungoverned content is already being paid, and it's showing up in places that don't get categorized as "AI cost" on a budget line. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/etyAEhsJ

Rachel Meranus shared thisThrilled to welcome Manlio Carrelli to Stensul as our new CEO! Manlio's experience in AI and enterprise software make him a great fit for Stensul's next chapter. Huge shout out to Noah Dinkin for pioneering Governed Creation™ and leading Stensul for the last 10 years.Rachel Meranus shared thisBig news from Stensul. 👇 We’re excited to welcome Manlio Carrelli as CEO, succeeding our founder Noah Dinkin. We’re grateful for Noah’s vision in founding Stensul and helping establish governed marketing creation as a critical category for enterprise marketing teams. AI is changing marketing fast. Content creation is no longer the bottleneck. What can actually ship is. That’s the problem Stensul was built to solve. As AI accelerates creation, enterprise marketing teams need to move faster without losing control — of brand, compliance, and what’s ready to ship. Manlio brings deep CEO and senior leadership experience across AI and enterprise software, with a strong grounding in marketing software and customer-facing workflows, including for regulated enterprises. Most recently, he served as CEO of CB Insights, an AI-powered predictive intelligence platform for large enterprises. Earlier, he held senior leadership roles at LivePerson and Intermedia. Under Manlio’s leadership, Stensul will advance the platform enterprises need to create, govern, and ship marketing content in the age of AI. To our customers, partners, and team — thank you for being part of this journey. We’re excited for the next chapter. Read more: https://lnkd.in/eJasjb9N

Rachel Meranus shared thisAI is only useful to enterprise marketing teams if they're actually allowed to use it. In regulated industries, that usually means one approved model. Everything else is off the table. That's the gap we just closed with Bring Your Own LLM. Stensul customers will now be able to connect their own approved LLM to our governed templates and workflows. AI requests run through their environment, under their contracts, inside their controls. The content comes back into Stensul and moves through the same approval flow as anything else. This is especially valuable for financial services, healthcare, and life sciences teams that need to meet strict AI governance requirements while retaining full control over their models. Proud of what the team has built. Rachel Meranus liked thisRachel Meranus liked thisI asked Claude Code to build me a clone of HubSpot. It did. I don't have a problem with HubSpot, it's a great product for many people. I just wanted one specific thing, and I wanted it to work exactly the way I wanted. Now every morning I get an email with my "touch base" list. "You haven't spoken to this person in 89 days, this one in 92. Here's your interaction log and what you talked about last time you spoke" Then I send two or three notes. Hey Dave, how's back to school going? Last time we talked you'd just started guitar lessons, how's that coming along? No "checking in to see if you have any marketing needs." I'm not asking them for anything. Here's why I do it, and it's the same reason I'd tell a client to do it. First, I love talking to great people, and I have FANTASTIC, high quality people in my network. Also, I have the benefit of being a marketer, so I understand that I have to stay top of mind. Not because someone needs a fractional CMO today. Because at some point they will, or they'll be sitting across from a founder who does, and in that moment I need to be the name that surfaces. Oh, let me call Rob. You can't manufacture that moment, you can only be present when it happens. The problem is that being present with a few hundred people isn't something a human brain does. You think you'll remember, but you won't. Six months disappear and you have no idea who you've dropped. So I built the thing that remembers for me. Stick tap to Claude Code! 🏒

Rachel Meranus liked thisRachel Meranus liked thisI'm super excited to share that after 2 fun years of building and scaling the marketing team at 9fin, I've joined Capsa AI as Head of Marketing! Capsa is the AI operating system for private capital — already live with clients managing over $1tn in AUM, with 70% of users on the platform weekly. It gives funds a compounding institutional memory, so judgment calls are backed by the fund's own track record, not a generic model trained on the open internet, and the system gets sharper with every deal. Capsa just raised an $18M Series A and we're hiring across the board in London and New York — and the marketing team will be growing next quarter too! Check out our open roles — linked in the comments. Looking forward to working closely with Nina Narayan, Danyal Özdüzenciler, Callum Downie, Jack Fisher and the rest of the team! More to come! ⚡

Rachel Meranus reacted on thisRachel Meranus reacted on thisI have never spoken publicly about being raped in college. About how that was how I lost my virginity. But reading about the situation at Cornell, I keep thinking about the young woman at the center of it, and I think it is time. After I was raped, I spiraled into self-harm and eating disorders. There are whole years of college I still cannot remember. Sometimes I wonder whether that is for the best. It is a strange thing to look back at your own life and find so much of it missing. We talk so often about the perpetrators. We are furious, and rightfully so. There must be accountability. There must be justice. And alongside that anger, we need to think about the person who has to keep living after what was done to her. What waking up every single morning feels like. What it means to live in a body that suddenly feels unfamiliar, to try to feel safe inside it again. What trying to fall asleep every single night feels like. There is so much of the aftermath that happens quietly, in the ordinary hours when everyone else is going about their lives. My father read me The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe every night until I finally could fell asleep in the aftermath of that night in college. Month after month. I will love him forever if only for this. For the tenderness of it. For that childlike love and care he offered me when I needed it. His voice, a familiar story, his presence. Night after night. I think about that care when I think about what we owe one another. The willingness to sit beside someone. To read the book. To keep showing up without asking when they will be better. We must love one another. We must give, and give, and give. We must support those who have been victimized for years and years to come. Care cannot depend on how recently something happened, or how much attention it is receiving. All these years later, I still cannot watch movies with scenes of violence against women. And there are far too many of them. I am still learning what I can bear, what I need, what makes me feel safe. Healing, for me, has been the work of a lifetime. Peace, safety, and strength to the young woman at the center of this case. To everyone who has been victimized. To the countless women like me who have carried this quietly, who have never spoken about it, who may be reading this with a story of their own. There is healing. There is life ahead. And we have stories to tell, when and if we choose. Until then, we deserve care just the same. (Thank you also to Anne Laure Sellier who I recently shared this with during a four hour dinner in Paris…opening up the door for me to share with whoever reads. Freedom comes from sharing the burden, lightening the load, until one is finally free from it.)

Rachel Meranus reacted on thisThank you Rachel Johnson for giving Blakely Graham and me the opportunity to be part of such an important event!Rachel Meranus reacted on thisA magical thing happens when a room full of 180 women spends a whole day together. Rachel Krug, Leah Russo and I built a day just for us: the Pavilion Women's Summit. It was a labor of love, and I'm really proud of what we built. I believe you should always make room at the table for other women. So that's what we did, even the morning of. We even added seats that morning, and more women walked into that room because of it. Thank you to the Pavilion team (especially Rich Gardner) for saying yes. Yes to extra tables. Yes to extra tickets for anyone who wanted in. Yes to widening the circle. Thank you to every speaker who shared their expertise on stage. Michelle Ji-Yeun Kim Rachel Rozen Yara Ohashi Lilah Jones Shannon Plumb Alice Heiman Kendra Morales Hannah Ajikawo Stephanie Blair Betsy Wilson Jen Spencer Hailey McDonald Larysa Zakirova Tanya Little Patricia DuChene Alison Moore Ashley Stamps-Lafont Trinity Nguyen 💎 Krissy Manzano Nelly Kalakhan Amber Williamson Tamar Martirosyan Katie Capuzzo Katie Daggett Lindsey Katalan Blakely Graham Heather Cooper, Esq. Crystal Black And to my dear friend and Co-Lead Leah: I couldn't ask for a better partner to run this day with. What we did was hard, and we did it together. I feel lucky Pavilion brought us together and that I got to have you by my side on Monday. And to the 180 women who showed up: you made that room what it was. Thank you for being present. And the words shared in that room? The ones we don't usually say to each other out loud: "You've got this." "This is your year." "You're inspiring." "I'm in awe of you." I've been basking in Monday's glow for a day now because I didn't have the words for my gratitude. This picture says everything I'm feeling. Want a seat at the next table? On November 12th, Women of Pavilion is hosting a virtual keynote with Dr. Amy Diehl, PhD, author of Glass Walls, on the gender bias barriers women can't always see at work. And we're widening the circle again. This one is open to the men and allies in our lives too. 👉 Details in the comments. We set up extra tables the morning of. That's what making room looks like. You keep saying yes until every chair is filled. #Gratitude #WomensSummit #FCMO #CoLead #Leadership

Rachel Meranus reacted on thisRachel Meranus reacted on this21 days until I turn 50... so I thought I'd update my headshot! This isn't the best picture I've ever taken, but I think it captures me and my energy... and, of course, my fabulous hair 😊. On to more important matters. I swear conference season will be over soon, and I can stop talking about them - but it's not over yet! For this post, I'm going to focus on relationships. I met Rachel Meranus last week at a dinner hosted by Wednesday Women, and I already know we'll be friends for a long time. We just clicked. That said, I'm realizing it's not enough to meet someone and click with them; relationships take work and time, and I often don't give enough of either. This is more than just about networking, it's about the fact that real, deep relationships have to be nurtured over time. I had the extreme good fortune of sitting next to Mar Brandt all day on Monday this week. She and I worked together for 10 years early in our careers. We have talked several times, txted, been FB friends, been references for each other, etc., but we hadn't been in the same room together for 10+ years! So, yes, I can say Mar and I picked right back up where we left off and had an amazing day, but I missed countless moments in her real life over those 10+ years that I'll never get back. Idk, this was the first time in a while I realized it's not enough to show up for the big events; you need to be there for the everyday ones too. I also got to see Vince Beese after probably 15 years, which was also amazing, and Andrea Gerlach from my Cordial days, and meet new friends like Lauren Becker, and of course see my Wednesday Women like Leslie Greenwood and Jen Spencer, and my other conference besties, Liz Madsen and Jeizel Rosenthal.

Rachel Meranus liked thisRachel Meranus liked thisCEO: “Please send me the CAC by channel” This type of question signals a company that is data-rich but insight-poor. And for my marketers out there, here's how to change that: EXAMPLE: Paid Search Let’s say you’re in the market for a sales CRM for your organization. You’ve been tasked with researching options, so you go to Google and type in “best sales CRM.” At the top, you get two “sponsored” results - Company A and Company B Let’s say those two have been going back and forth between ranking in the first and second spots, so they’re spending the same amount over a given time period Further, they have the same exact landing page - copy, testimonials, CTA, + more. All things considered, everything is the same between them So which company wins your business here? 💡 The company that leverages *other* variables outside of paid search to their benefit Let’s now give names to Company A and Company B above Company A is Hubspot Company B is Jobber (sorry Jobber, you were the first CRM company I came across and had never heard of) Knowing these are the two companies, which ad are you clicking on? If I had to bet, I’d put my money on Hubspot Why? Because they have stronger brand awareness + you’ve probably heard of them before. They’re familiar + more trustworthy as a result (and feel less risky). So back to looking at the CAC of "paid search" for each of those companies, despite having the same exact spend, same landing pages, same content, same offer, etc., that channel is going to be more effective for Hubspot Same spend on paid search But more clicks And more conversions The ironic part is that they will have a lower CAC if you’re looking specifically at that channel, but it actually has NOTHING to do with that channel --> It has EVERYTHING to do with the interplay between that channel and the other channels they’re leveraging ------> It has EVERYTHING to do with viewing your demand gen ecosystem as a series of force multipliers upon one another The clients I've worked with who understood this often saw anywhere from a 50-200% increase in qualified pipeline within 12 months of embracing this demand gen marketing philosophy If this scenario sounds like your company or if you're in B2B trying to figure out how to keep the growth going, I have room for 1 more client before I'm booked up until 2027

How did they end up here? We are not very sure either but one thing is 100% sure they are all very resilient They survived the SaaSpocalypse. They survived all the "trust me, it'll be fun" trips around the world I've dragged them on They survived my jokes (though some of them are still recovering) but probably the thing I’m most proudest of is that they’ve learned to work with humans who’s ideas of “on time”, “direct feedback” and “spicy “ is completely different than theirs gettimg 37 countries to work like a team is harder than anything we’ve done we’re all flying off to a remote island (we take remote very seriously here)- wish us luck

For my PR Peeps...this one is worth your time -- earned or paid/with AI? "In this modern ecosystem, the goal is no longer just to guide a user through a journey, but to secure the product’s presence within the moment of choice. To achieve this, brands must understand the data sources fueling these AI systems." https://lnkd.in/e8Kj3xsJ

Employee disengagement cost the global economy $438 billion in 2024. Most companies are hemorrhaging productivity while underinvesting in the one function that could fix it. After 30 years of helping companies scale, I'm seeing a pattern: High-growth companies spend 40% more on marketing and 20% more on sales—but they're not making equivalent investments in communications infrastructure. The result? Talented people drowning. Systems collapsing at predictable growth inflection points. Crisis unpreparedness that costs hundreds of millions. In my latest Forbes Agency Council article, I break down: → Why communications infrastructure breaks at every growth stage → The framework I use to help companies decide what to build vs. buy → How to invest before the system fails (not after) The question isn't whether you'll invest in infrastructure. It's whether you'll invest before or after it breaks. https://lnkd.in/gEE68m7r #CommunicationsStrategy #BusinessGrowth #Leadership #EmployeeEngagement

Want to see the future of marketing? Don’t look at holding companies, watch the canaries. AdDaptive Intelligence, Inc.'s Ted McNulty’s latest piece captures how AI is flipping the playbook faster than anyone expected. Smart, sharp, and uncomfortably true. Please give it a read and would love your thoughts?

As AI reshapes every industry, small- and mid-sized communications agencies like ours have an opportunity to thrive. Why? Because generative AI doesn’t threaten our business model. Spring Green Communications is made up of a select number of senior comms pros delivering strategy and execution, 360-style. The arrival of AI to the way we work doesn’t represent replacement, it levels the playing field of sorts, offering increased efficiency and inspiration. While we experiment with and adopt AI capabilities to improve research and content development, we’re staying true to our Spring Green AI Principles — a set of internal standards guiding the ways we do and don’t use generative AI, to responsibly manage projects, budget and client IP. As you look to retain comms and marketing support for 2026, this may be the right time, for maybe the first time, to consider alternatives to a big agency with a big price tag and give a proven boutique firm a look. Here’s what’s in it for you: - Faster, more creative solutions because these firms (like us!) have fewer legacy systems and less bureaucracy - Personalized attention from a nimble team that is AI-enabled but authentically human - Competitive pricing providing more services and deeper engagement for your investment AI is redefining how communications and storytelling are done best — and reshaping who can do it best. The traditional ‘who’ might be changing. And we’re here for it.

What Does B2B PR Cost in 2026? What Industrial and Tech Companies Should Expect For business leaders comparing PR agencies, the monthly fee matters. What the agency is expected to deliver matters far more. A business leader comparing PR proposals may receive dramatically different prices for services that all appear to be called public relations. One agency may charge $6,000 per month. Another may propose $15,000. Another firm may quote $30,000 or more. Those proposals are not different prices for the same service....
