A few weeks ago, Google Scholar asked if I wanted to update the title of my thesis (the publication website and the document itself had different titles for some unknown reason). I accepted the modification and it made the citation count reset to 0.

The papers which had cited my thesis cited it using the former name shown in GScholar so I believe that this change of title meant that the citations were not linked anymore to my thesis. I then changed the title back to the original version (and harmonized the title between the library website and the document) but it had no impact, the citation count is still at 0 almost a month after the issue.

Has it already happened to someone and is there a way to solve this kind of issue?
