The Malboro Menace (モルボルワースト, Moruboruwāsuto?, lit. Molbor Worst), also known as the Worst Malboro or Morbol Menace, is a recurring creature in the Final Fantasy series, first appearing in Final Fantasy X. It is often the strongest malboro encountered in games in which it appears.

Final Fantasy II[]

The Malboro Menace appears an enemy exclusive to the Dawn of Souls and 20th Anniversary releases, encountered in Arubboth. It fights much like the Great Malboro, relying on physical attacks that inflict multiple statuses to one character and traveling in groups. It is weak to Fire-elemental and Ice-elemental attacks, and absorbs all other elements except Lightning, and can drop Yoichi's Bow.
Final Fantasy IV[]

The Malboro Menace, also known as the Worst Malboro, appears as an enemy exclusive to the Advance and Complete Collection releases, encountered in the Lunar Ruins. It can drop several valuable items, namely the Soma Drop, Ribbon, and Elixir
Final Fantasy IV: The After Years[]
The Malboro Menace, also known as the Worst Malboro, appears as an enemy encountered in the the Depths. It can use Doom in addition to the Bile and Bad Breath abilities typical to malboros. It can once more drop the Soma Drop, Ribbon, and Elixir. It is weak to Fire-elemental attacks.
Final Fantasy VI[]

The Malboro Menace appears as a boss exclusive to the Advance and Matrix Software releases, encountered in the Dragons' Den. Initially only a single Malboro Menace appears, but when it is defeated two more take its place, followed by four. It has access to the Bad Breath, Tentacle, Diabolic Whistle, and Blaster abilities, inflicting a wide range of status effects to the party constantly. It is weak to Fire-elemental attacks.
Final Fantasy X[]

The Malboro Menace appears as an optional Area Conquest boss encountered at the Monster Arena after Catching at least one of each fiend in Kilika. It boats high stats and has access to a more powerful version of the malboro skillset, including Putrid Breath, Mega Gastric Juice, Gastric Juice Blast, and Chow Time. It will always start the battle by ambushing the party and opening with Putrid Breath.
When defeated, it will drop many weapons with status-strike abilities and armor with status-proof abilities, with weapons always having Poisonstrike and armor always having Poisonproof. All equipment dropped by the Malboro Menace also gives a hidden 6% critical bonus to the wearer's physical attacks.
Final Fantasy XI[]

The Morbol Menace appears as a morbol enemy encountered in the Boyahda Tree, potentially spawning in place of a Mourioche. There is no limit on how many Morbol Menaces may be active.
Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia[]

The Malboro Menace is a dummied boss. While it has stats and abilities, it has no AI script and never appears in any content.

The Malboro Menace appears as an optional boss, encountered alongside the Flan Princess in the Windswept Mire. It rewards a Malboro Menace Memento upon defeat, allowing to be transfigured with the Malboro and Korrigan.
