The Poison Toad (ポイズントード, Poizuntōdo?), also known as the P.Toad, Venom Toad, or PoisToad, is a recurring creature in the Final Fantasy series, first appearing in Final Fantasy II. As its name implies, it is fond of inflicting the Poison status with its attacks.

Final Fantasy II[]
The Poison Toad appears as an enemy encountered in the Great Desert and Tropical Island. It is of no big threat to the player outside of its ability to inflict Poison, and can be defeated with Ice-elemental attacks or regular physical attacks with ease.
Final Fantasy III[]
The Poison Toad appears as an enemy encountered in the Cave of Tides, usually in groups of two or three. It is not a very powerful foe, but can inflict Poison through its physical attacks.
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest[]
The Poison Toad appears as an enemy encountered in the Bone Dungeon, being an exceptionally weak enemy but capable of inflicting Poison to party members with its Poison Fluid attack.
