[edit | edit source]

Blocks

[edit | edit source]

Sapling

  • Saplings now grow into big trees.

General

  • Mobs now spawn less often.
  • Mob pathfinding and behavior changed.

World generation

[edit | edit source]

General

  • The level generator has been updated.
    • It is now much faster.
    • The terrain seems to be much less mountainous. Instead, more hills and plains generate and cliffs appear less often.
    • Due to this change, the Far Lands are now different, with thinner tunnels and sharper walls.

General

[edit | edit source]
  • Auto-save of worlds happens more often.
  • Changed world save format.

Removals

[edit | edit source]

General

[edit | edit source]

Debug screen

  • Removed slash from "All" value.
  • "Counted" value has been removed.

Fixes

[edit | edit source]

2 bugs fixed

  • Hostile mobs no longer spawn in bright areas.
  • Fixed lag spikes happening randomly due to high chunk updates.

2 bugs reported

  • While breaking multiple blocks, it is possible to open the inventory. Upon closing it, the player's hand or tool will remain stuck and will not animate until the breaking stops.
  • When breaking a heap of gravel stacked on top of another from the bottom gravel block, part of the top gravel's texture might get stuck, causing a visual glitch.[more information needed]
    • The glitch is stopped when a block is placed on the bugged gravel.
    • The player can look under the world through the glitched gravel block.
    • It seems that only the third gravel block (from the bottom) on a gravel stack is affected by this bug.
