For example, earlier this year, it announced RiskFM, an AI foundation model for fraud detection, anti-money laundering, and broader risk decisions across the entire financial crime lifecycle. Not only it covers multiple use cases from cards to real-time payments, it also is architected in a way that delivers high performance. However, what struck me yesterday was that none of that was discussed on stage throughout the day, rather unusual for a technology company's event, which typically includes several presentations on the latest product launches. Instead, the conversations were focused primarily on human, organizational, and operational side of fraud management. Lunch at The Chase was fantastic, followed by a fun and engaging panel with Donna Kinoshita and Kristy Duncan — two industry dynamos who shared practical and actionable advice such as: ✅ Stop using "I think" and start using "Based on..." shows confidence and gets attention. ✅ When work is intense, present yourself a like a duck - calm on the top, even while pedaling fast underneath. ✅ There is no such thing as work / life balance. You can't have it all at the same time, so prioritize what matters, which will change over time. ✅ Find yourelf a sponsor, not just a mentor; someone who will advocate for you even when you're not in the room. ✅ Good work is only part of the story; you have to tell your story and get comfortable asking for what you want - and knowing your worth. Agents and productivity gains are valuable, but the opportunity goes much further: using AI to transform the business-critical processes companies actually run on. THAT’s what drew me to Unframe ! And this is where it gets particularly interesting for me; None of the Partners I speak to are looking for another AI platform to resell. They have enough technology choices already. While this advice is well-meaning, it has an unfortunate side effect: it unfairly places the burden of online safety squarely on the consumers. In reality, people can do everything right and still have their information stolen and abused in an attack. Upstream infrastructure gaps and data breaches at companies people know and trust happen, and the consumer is ultimately most impacted. The next wave of APP fraud is coming. Feedzai CEO Nuno Sebastiao highlighted the growing threat of APP fraud and using AI effectively to stay ahead. 2. Breaking down silos is becoming critical. SEB, ABN AMRO and Lloyds discussed the need to connect fraud, identity and authentication around a unified view of customer risk. 3. The industry is moving toward unified detection. You are the company you keep. My parents instilled this in me at a young age. Know who you are, what you care about, and where you want to learn. I care deeply about AI serving human flourishing. Every agent needs access to data and inference to achieve a reliable, viable, and superior outcome. Most enterprise initiatives face an inhibitor to leveraging needed data for achieving this success. Data-centric governance and security is how this critical inhibitor will be removed. I and the company I keep are focused on removing this inhibitor so the business can embrace AI agents to improve the customer experience, get needed quality products in the hands of customers faster. Axelle Girardot and Claudionor Coelho Jr are amazing additions to the existing DAXA advisory board leaning in together on this mission. I am proud of the company I keep including Mark Dorsi , Sudeep Venkatesh , Sam Chehab, Nico Popp along with the DAXA co-founders Huseni Saboowala and Sridhar Ramaswamy.
